Trapped Family in Gaza Appeals for Help to Survive
A Plea for Help from Gaza: A Family Seeking Safety
Hello, I am Rehab Shamia, married to Hussein Shamia (@husseinshamia) ,from a family of 4 members.
We live in the midst of the ongoing hellish war in Gaza, trapped between walls of fear and despair.
In light of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, we went through very difficult circumstances. We were displaced several times. We lost our house, which I had paid for with all my savings, to the enemy's bombs shortly after our first displacement. We lost all the beautiful things that my family and I used to enjoy, and the most difficult beautiful thing we lost was safety in peace, due to the violent bombing that surrounded us in all the places to which we fled.
to say the least, our days were difficult, as there were no viable sources of employment to obtain the money we needed to meet our needs. Our situation is especially dire because my wife was born in the war, I have an infant and a 4-year-old and we are still stuck in a tent where there is no healthy food, no medicine, no water and no electricity. During the process of displacement, we lost the stable and recreational life that we used to live with me, the family, and the child, Ayham, who lost all the toys that he loved and played with all the time, and was deprived of the beautiful childhood that he lived in the first days of his childhood. My wife, who is constantly tired and exhausted, moving from one tent to another, is slowly sliding towards despair. Every nature of life, from a beautiful house to a tent in the middle of the street, a place to sleep. I need your help in raising money to leave the Gaza Strip
I need to raise money to restore a beautiful life and stability outside the Gaza Strip Everything I tell leaves only a small amount of the suffering we are experiencing. Below is a glimpse of the contrast between our lives before the aggression and the nightmare we've been enduring since it began. Thank you for your support and solidarity
My name is Eman and I am asking for your help to provide the basic necessities of life for my family.
Our household consists of my four wonderful children, my husband, my ailing father and father-in-law.
when we were happy
We lived a relatively stable life in Gaza prior to October 7 th, 2023. Since then, we have been displaced multiple times. We left our home, our belongings, our life and dreams. We finally ended up in a tent after moving in multiple unsafe homes. My children as a result, are suffering from malnutrition, inability to sleep and fear of bombing and explosions all around us.
We are in a continuous state of unrest and it's taking a toll on us physically, mentally and emotionally.
We are in dire need of help to hopefully move out to safety and provide for our family. My father needs a surgical intervention to remove gangrene from his foot and my father-in-law is suffering from severe depression after the death of my mother-in-law. My youngest is anxious and cries all the time. Our world is collapsing and I can’t figure out a way out of our situation. This war has changed our life to living a constant nightmare.
We no longer have the minimum necessities of life
No homes, no water, no electricity, nothing left.
Then the office where my husband worked was destroyed. My husband works as a computer engineer. The entire tower, which included many companies and private clinics, was bombed.
We lost many friends, including my husband’s mother, who died in the war as a result of extreme fear and gangrene in the intestines due to malnutrition. My children are still grieving for their dear grandmother, and now we live in a tent that lacks the lowest standards of living.
Our suffering has been continuing for about seven months, in light of the cold, rain, and lack of winter clothes.
Mostafa crying because of the sound of bombs and explosions.

And now, after losing hope in life in Gaza and losing all the basics necessary for a single individual’s life, and fearing for the future of my children, as each one has a dream that he aspires to reach, especially since my eldest son is supposed to start his university life and start shaping his future..
I ask you, hoping that my request will not be rejected, that you help me build our lives and save what is left of us, that we try to create a future for our children after what was destroyed, and that we try to fulfill their small dreams that have become impossible in their view after they saw the destruction of our home and schools, that each one of them complete his studies in school and then move on. To the university, and for each of them to become what he desires, build his future, achieve his dreams, and benefit himself, his family, his community, and his country.
Thank you to everyone who read, shared, and supported.
On Friday, a group of protestors walked on Highway 89 in Cameron, Ariz., protesting Pinyon Plain Mine owner Energy Fuels trucking uranium ore through the Navajo Nation to Utah.
Uranium has a long history of impacts on the Navajo Nation and its people since the 1940s.
"We've seen the effects of these things in the past on our land, the spills into our rivers, into our communities, the residual effects on our on our health, of our children, our elders," Cameron resident Adair Klopfenstein said. "It's awful, and we don't want it to happen again."
The Pinyon Plain Mine, formerly known as Canyon Mine, began mining uranium ore in December and is expected to be actively mining for at least five years. The company had told 12News at the end of June it would start transporting the uranium ore to a mill in southeast Utah in July or August.
That hauling appears to have started before the pause was put in place.
"I call it illegal smuggling across our border and then through the Navajo Nation," Navajo Nation President Buu Nygren said.
I am Ahmed Al-Nabih from Gaza, and this is my twin brother Abdul Rahman. I am 30 years old. I used to live a beautiful life with my family and my brother. The idea of marriage was on the table and we were going to continue our lives in our beautiful house, but something happened like a nightmare. The war came and took all our dreams and destroyed our house. Our lives became very difficult and arduous. We lived in tents. In the extreme heat, my mother suffers from chronic diseases, heart disease, blood pressure, and diabetes. Please help me save my family and my elderly mother. I ask for your support and participation. A small donation makes a difference. I have only collected 1,60euros in about five months! Thank you all!❤️🙏

Pictures of me and my twin brother before the war!
Pictures of us with my mother before the war, when our lives were beautiful and stable!☹️
A picture in the war of my mother, who is 62 years old, due to the lack of medicine because she suffers from chronic diseases, blood pressure, heart, and diabetes. Her health condition deteriorated due to the difficult life in Gaza and famine, and because we live in tents in the extreme heat.!🥹
I am during the war and my life has become arduous and tiring!😌
Now we live here, it is a terrifying life, more like a nightmare!☹️
