The funny idea about having a “some of the managers used to be toons” headcanon is that I don’t believe all of them were. Cathal for one but I firmly believe Misty is also a natural built cog. I have OTHER headcanons about things that happened to her but-
Anyway I think Misty learns her coworkers used to be toons and proceeds to commit several well-intentioned microaggressions. Like I think her desire to befriend toons and connect to people who have been harmed by other suits would make her act so weird about the whole thing. She treats them different. She wants to connect more than ever but has no damn tact.
