"Oi, oi! What are you insinuating?" Sanosuke slung an arm around Shinpachi as he took the cup of sake offered to him. "'Course I am!"

He downed it and let out a pleased sigh as he felt the familiar pleasant burn travel to his stomach.

"That hit the spot! Hey, Shin-" He grinned sloppily, determination burning in his eyes. "I bet I can drink more than you can tonight."

Free from the bindings that normally wrap around his abdomen, Sanosuke felt his inhibitions free up as well. Turning towards the new comer, he greeted the woman. “H…HEY, BEAUTIFUL LADY— you can watch too!”

He shrugged off his top, throwing it on top of some poor soul sitting nearby before taking the drink offered to him.

“I don’t have a brush or ink but…” Staring intently into her eyes, Sanosuke pointed at his nipples.  “ …Eyes.”

He then pointed at the scar that ran across his abdomen. “…Mouth.”

Giving a serious nod, he huffed and inhaled deeply.

“GROOOOAAAAAAWWWWWWHHHHHH!!!!!! GOOD! EV! EN! ING!” 

Sanosuke flexed, both abs and arms, to every syllable, dancing around on the spot.

“AND! I! LOVE! SA! KE!!”

With the alcohol loosening his tongue, Sanosuke grinned and took the sake from the man in front of him. “Hey, thanks! A..Appreciate it!”

Sanosuke stood up with a grunt of effort, swaying from side to side, just the slightest amount.“Wanna hear…! Wanna see something interesting?”

Without waiting for a response, he began undoing the wraps around his abdomen. “I have a special skill because I committed honorable suicide.” He explained, concentrating hard on his task with fumbling fingers.

“My … my BELLY CAN TALK!”

HEY—! HEY SANOOO! SANOOOOSHDJSLG! I'VE GOT... UHHH... what'd I get...? AH, RIGHT! TWO MORE ROUNDS OF SAKE! 🍶🍶

Drink Count: 8, 9

Having finished his seventh.. was it already his seventh? cup of sake, Sanosuke was now content to laugh and join in on the boisterous conversations around him or lend an ear to any woeful soul who requires it. However, the familiar drunken stupor of his close friend flipped a switch in him; it was obvious he was pleased to see a familiar face.

“Oiii, Heisuke! Come! Drink with me.” He slurred, draping an arm around the shorter man’s shoulders. He snatched a bottle of sake from Heisuke’s hand and poured out a round for himself and Heisuke.

“CHEERS!” He cried, louder than he had ever that evening as he set down the bottle and picked up the cup. He downed his sake and hastily went to pour another round.

Sanosuke blinks owlishly upon hearing the question before turning to face the speaker. He hums, eyes wandering between the sake and the one before him, before smiling widely. With cheeks flushed from the alcohol and words slurring slightly, he replies amicably, “Who am I to deny a beautiful lady such as yourself?”

Last drink. He thinks to himself, as he raises the sake cup to his lips.

Drink Count: 4, 5, 6

“Three?” Sanosuke’s eyes widen slightly before looking at the woman before him. “Quite the big spender, aren’t you?” He laughs, sipping on his fourth cup for the evening. “…Especially on one you do not know.” He drinks the fifth and sixth cup in rapid succession, feeling the buzz of the alcohol kick in.

“Thanks… for the drinks.” He grins.
