i was on a frenzy about this song for about 30 minutes lol and this is what happened

prob gonna polish this later, get rid of the extra strings and have more cohesive/consistant phrasing but i liked how this came out!!!!

ive gotten so deep into Bromance in Concert/Bromance: The Dudesicle (which one is it?) over the past three days and i wanna draw more sketches like these

really fun musical, i am absolutely in love with Marty and Dick

repetition repetition repetition

i was having a hard time starting to draw today bc my drawing ability doesn't match up to my expectations, but i had to remind myself to stop thinking and keep on drawing. that's the only way to improve

except i didn't know what to draw! i didn't know how to improve. i felt like mindless sketching was fun, but all-together useless. I felt lost without any previous drawing teacher to help me—for all my other subjects, i've had personal guidance. then, i remembered that I have learned before. and every topic starts with the basics.

i couldn't spend a lot of time drawing, so i kept things simple. I focused on one pose, really drilling it into my mind, memorizing it so i wouldn't have to look off a book to replicate it. now it is difficult to do any other tilt of the head, but I am sure I can replicate that specific pose with ease. i know where the lines intersect, turn, and curve. i know their individual purposes and thus, under careful inspection, i am sure i will be able to transfer those purposes to new poses.

i just gotta keep on going. one detail a day

here's another update! i wanted to learn how to draw bodies so i downloaded Morpho Anatomy for Artists and got lost in the head section and didn't do much with drawing bodies...
