This right here?? This is one of my favorite panels that I’m so happy Hori included because it goes back to one of my favorite dialogues between Toshinori and Aizawa (of which I’ve previously posted here).
One of Toshinori’s biggest struggles since losing AFO has been about him coming to terms with his own importance and capabilities. He has doubts, fears, and has wondered what can he really do for those around him. This comes up in a previous conversation between him and Aizawa that the panel above references to.
In Toshinori’s mind, the hero All Might, and the man Yagi Toshinori, are separate. And if he is no longer All Might, then who is Yagi Toshinori and what use is of he?
Aizawa assures him otherwise. That contrasting to what Toshi believes, he still very much the same person he’s always been. He’s still wanted and needed to those around him.
But despite this assurance, for a man who lived a huge portion of his life as a hero to who now has to be on the sidelines for his own safety, who feels as is he is being left behind, the change is jarring and fears and doubts will still creep in. That’s what Ch. 326 is about. It’s Toshinori being confronted with the truth in what was previously told to him despite anything and everything that’s currently happening.
He is still wanted. He is still needed. Even if he is no longer physically able to fight, he is still All Might.
Toshinori’s greatest legacy is not in the era of peace he made, but in the people he’s saved, touched, taught, and inspired. Whom he continues to inspire every day.
The kids are the future. They are the heroes who are bringing about the change that has been a long time coming.
But it’s not just them, change also comes in the local civilians. The people who were there in moment, but affected in the long run too.
That is Yagi Toshinori’s greatest legacy. That is what he needed to hear and witness once again. He is wanted. He is needed. He was, is, and always will be All Might. The man and the hero are one in the same.

also CAN WE PLEASE TALK ABOUT HER????
i'm so tired of this fandoms' majority assuming her as someone who has a crush on izuku and forgetting about her whole personality and abilities. stop uSING HER BECAUSE YOU DON'T BELIEVE A CHANCE OF A LGBTI+ SHIP TO BECOME SEMI-/CANON!!! STOP ASSUMING HER AS SOMEONE WHO ONLY THINKS ABOUT IZUKU. she is more than that. A LOT MORE THAN THAT!! she has an awesome quirk, she is a badass icon, she is an awesome friend and an awesome daughter, she can kick your ass in seconds you may even not see her coming, she is a successful student and hero, and she will be an amazing pro hero! she is working so hard and im just so SOOOOOO tired of some of you thinking about her just as a "future girlfriend of izuku" OR someone "who disrupts my otp".
i don't have a clue what you are thinking but personally i believe in uraraka ochako supremacy.

Izuku was ready to give up.
He's so injured and exhausted that he's literally falling over. He can't even stand anymore.
"A reckless rampage, born of anxiety and impatience...you take on the world alone...to the point of exhaustion and ruin."
He's been working himself to the bone for so long he's famous for it. He wants so badly to win this war and save everyone that he'll never admit how broken he is.
But I think, deep down, he knows it. He's suffering. This is destroying him. Look at how lifeless his eyes have become.
He's trying to convince himself to fight, but he's not even trying to break free. He says he has to master One for All completely so everyone can smile again, together. But Izuku's not smiling anymore. He's beaten, broken, and just so tired of this. But then...
But then he's saved. By the one person who can get him back on his feet-
Kacchan. His symbol of victory.
"If there's anything that could bolster Izuku Midoriya now, it would be..." .
It would be Kacchan. He is, canonically, the one thing that can get Izuku to rally. The one person who can truly save him.
And the light immediately returns to Izuku's eyes.
Save to win, and win to save, y'all.

Do you ever think about how Horikoshi casually created the greatest character of all time and we’re kind of taking it for granted?
Do you ever think about how Shigaraki embraces ALL of the main themes in MHA?
His arc is about:
The complicated distinction between good and evil.
Villains and heroes often literally being two sides of the same coin.
The failures of hero society or more generally how pro heroes have repeatedly failed to make the world a better/safer place.
The inherent inequality of quirks. Not all man are created equal.
The importance of not just saving someone’s life but also someone’s heart.
What can or should be done to break the circle of violence between heroes and villains.
The importance of legacies and teachings, and passing the torch to the next generation.
“You looked like someone who needed saving.”
More generally, his arc is also about about choices, control, forgiveness, and agency, all very important in the story.
He is also directly connected to the AFO/OFA lore, because of his connection to Nana, AFO, and OFA (similar designs).
Deku and Shigaraki are, canonically and by definition, the two protagonists of My Hero Academia. ✨
