Her feather-soft touches cause an aching deep 

Sun caught in her eyes burns my throat

Barely breathing, just listening to her golden laugh

Light through windows blind my eyes with her halo

I want to smooth back the hair fallen into her face

Kiss her upon the nape of her neck, softly

How could I not fall for such an angel

My body isn't right

Broken long ago

By someone who was

Meant to keep me safe

Worked how it should

Felt like mine

I wish I didn't

Feel so guilty for
