Man the Hazbin Hotel fandom on Twitter is crazy. People are currently having meltdowns at the fact that people think Alastor’s pride outfit gave them bisexual vibes, and apparently that is “invalidating” his sexuality bc he was apparently confirmed straight. Yet these same people getting upset are either making art of Vaggie and Angel Dust together (a lesbian and a gay man), or retweeting it…. Which is actually invalidating their sexualities.

Might just try to distance myself from that side of the fandom bc how are you gonna try to say people are invalidating alastor’s sexuality bc they want to say he’s bisexual? 😭

Of course, Chaggie antis are talking about how Vaggie is “mistreating” Charlie in this cross over video. 😭 I can’t take those people seriously at all.

Noah did NOT say Jonathan is bones. I don’t know why people are trying to spread false information, and cause panic, over him saying the season ended bittersweet and “devastating”. 😭 they can’t say anything about the season, so of course they’re going to try and make it seem big and crazy. He’s talking about the finale of the show… it probably won’t end with the happiest ending, but that doesn’t always mean a character death. And im tired of people instantly going to Jonathan being bones when his story arc is the exact opposite of his character dying… we got cute Natarlie content today, don’t try to ruin it with the insane “theories” over Noah Schnapp talking about the finale.

Genuinely feel like a lot of it is homophobia. These certain shippers have constantly said Chaggie is just a self insert ship that Viv made for fan service, and that it’s just representation for sapphic individuals and that it doesn’t do anything for the ~plot~.

They also think Vaggie is abusive to Charlie and that she doesn’t love her. I don’t understand it either because Vaggie has never been abusive to her at any point. But they also constantly talk about how much they hate Vaggie and that she’s just Charlie’s lapdog, too. 😒

This is a vent post, but im pissed off.

Chaggie antis piss me off so bad. Saying Vaggie just treats Charlie like a daughter and that she acts stupid or childish, when she’s with Vaggie. Trying to make up reasons why they’re soooo “toxic” for each other and that she is more “mature’ when she’s with a certain other character. It’s annoying. And they make it clear that they hate Charlie, when the discussion is not about their fave ship.

Charlie didn’t have anyone who believed in her, or cared for her, before she met Vaggie.. both her mother and father abandoned her and she was alone a lot. Vaggie was there to support her, and take care of her when it was needed. Vaggie doesn’t treat Charlie as a daughter, she just shows her softness because she loves her and it’s something Charlie barely had before they met. And to say Charlie is never mature, when she’s with Vaggie or that she’s just stupid around her infuriates me bc it’s not true. Charlie is a very playful and silly person, yes, but she’s also a badass when she needs to be. And Vaggie encourages her to be more badass and not as soft like in episode four.

It’s annoying that these same people love to claim that Chaggie’s only love the ship because it’s sapphic, and that we just like the ~representation~ and Chaggie is just fan service and nothing more, when they clearly only like Charlie when she’s with their favorite male character. 😒 sorry, but the fandom on Twitter is so toxic and annoying, I had to come here and vent all this out.

Thank you for this!! It’s so nice to finally see someone who ships radiobelle that doesn’t shit on Chaggie. 😭 im sure, it’s more common here, but it’s the complete opposite on Twitter. I’m sorry, but I don’t really see why so many people are worried about Jonathan all bc of the leaked merch. Nancy only has a pixel and a figure (where they got her eye color wrong), Joyce has zero merch, hopper only has that one shirt with El. The party are the most popular characters on the show, so most of the mech is, and always has, gone more to them and Steve unfortunately. Before season five, Jonathan barely got any merch. It’s unfortunate, but this doesn’t mean his character gets a bad ending over ugly merch😭 I’m not saying people can’t be disappointed, because it is upsetting that one of their main characters barely gets anything but he’s not the only character that is barely in the leaked merch/promo. Joyce is in none, and we know she gets a good ending so. 😭😅

Man, the Twitter side of the HH fandom is so weird, because now people are claiming Vaggie treats Charlie more like a daughter than a girlfriend, because of THIS scene. 😭😭 Angel drops Charlie into her arms, it’s not like Vaggie picked her up like this. And I’ve seen people do this with their partners all the time… why only now is it considered “motherly”? I’m so tired of people invalidating Chaggie… Vaggie is in LOVE with Charlie, she never treats her like a daughter. 😭

I just found out the same people who continuously call Chaggie AND Vaggie toxic also ship Charlie with ADAM of all characters… the man who constantly belittled her, tried to kill her, called her the most disgusting things, yet they want me to think VAGGIE is toxic.. 😭😭 I can’t take a lot of these shippers seriously at all.

No hate to my friends, if you like the ship but… I’ll never understand it, personally. But if you continually try to paint Vaggie as toxic, while shipping Charlie with Adam, I am going to side eye the hell out of you. Because…
