hi! I hope you haven’t gotten too many of these kinds of asks, but I would love for you to explain your “all childhood is trauma” view in more detail. I feel as though I didn’t grow up with a traumatic childhood, and so I would love to know what you mean by “childhood is traumatizing”. This obviously isn’t forced or anything! well yknow as a child you are completely bereft of any autonomy, you are not in control of where you go or what (or whether!) you eat or what you wear, your social circle is tightly controlled, you have no right to privacy, it is expressly legal in much of the world to physically assault you, your desires are considered irrelevant, your distress is for the most part considered comical--when you strip these of the normalizing ideology of 'childhood' i think it becomes very clear that this is an inhumane way to be treated!
