I’m binge watching Haikyuu!! and I’m totally hooked. It’s the second day and I’m in the 4th season. Nishinoya is incredibly reliable and talented. Don’t get me wrong, I’m rooting for all of Karasuno. I just think Nishinoya is not getting the attention he deserves. He’s hands down the best Libero and the best at boosting the team’s morale (after Daichi ofc). When he said “There’s nothing to worry about. All of you, keep your eyes forward. Because you have me guarding your backs.” I melted. How cool is that?! That Rolling Thunder is awesome too.

I just finished watching Banana Fish. I already knew it was gonna be a bad ending coz I wasn’t able to keep myself away from spoilers, but man, I was still hit by a goddamn train. Instead of feeling disheartened, I’m SO ANGRY that I’m seeing red. IT’S UNACCEPTABLE. SHIT! WHY’D THEY HAVE TO GO AND SCREW THE ENDING?! WHY?? JUST WHY??? DAMMIT!

I’m watching Banana Fish rn. I’m in the scene where everybody’s terribly injured and shits about to go down, but, here I am giggling and smiling like an idiot whenever Eiji and Ash are together. There must be something wrong with me.

I totally recommend this manga. I can’t count the number of times I almost threw my phone away while reading because of utter giddiness. Even the title is awfully adorable. It has the most clever and remarkable dialogues and I’m living for it. Kudos to the scanlation group. They managed to improve my vocabulary in just four chapters. Damn!

I just learned that a patient harboring feelings of love towards their Doctor or the other way is actually a concept called Erotic Transference. Mangas are educational.

It’s wholesome omegaverse baby. Recently, I’ve been reading the usual yaoi with all that sexy stuff that this is like a breath of fresh air. It’s kind of soothing. Definitely soul cleansing. I give this a five star.

I’ve been replaying Mafuyu’s song since I finished Given and have been feeling hollow and depressed. Somebody please get me out of this hole

Yuuki’s and Uenoyama’s song is definitely gonna hurt like a btch. Looking forward to my next heartbreak.

I couldn’t hold myself back and binged read the manga after watching the anime (and i have an early class today to boot 😆). And boy, Lerche Studio made the greatest decision on producing the anime coz by far its the most accurate anime adaptation I’ve ever came across.

They outdid themselves with the music. It fit perfectly on the anime. Another season would be nice tho

You know it’s a good anime when the opening song fires you up. Dry humor is sort of my thing so I like it even more. There’s only a handful of BL animes out there so it’s kinda sad that it ended with only 11 episodes. I hope they are planning on coming up with another season 🤞

Aoi Aki

One of my favourite author. Sensei’s works, for the most part, embody science fiction and a slow paced, melodramatic narrative. Each time I read sensei’s books no matter what plot, the art and story always complements each other. The consistency is amazing. What I’m most fascinated about is the illustration. It’s as direct as it can be without a hint of pretense, flattery, and irrelevant drawing effects. But all the same it gets the point across. Though some people may find it plain and stoic, I say it’s a matter of preference. For me, it’s simple, calm and strangely soothing. More importantly, it gives off an enchanting and profound feeling.

For people with the same taste you’ll definitely love sensei’s work. Go ahead and give it a read. Also support the mangaka by buying their books if you can. Let’s spread love 💖

Hanazono no Kiuko 💐

At the beginning, it was a one-sided, dark and twisted relationship. But towards the end it was really emotional and heartwarming. I was drawn to the story because it focused more on building up the main characters rather than the stereotypical homosexual relationship issues. Everything from the story to the art is perfect that I can’t help reading it over and over again and I’d still get fcking emotional every damn time.

I think I’m gonna be a granny when the 7th volume is released but I just want them both to be happy already. They’ve had more than enough suffering to last a lifetime. And I chose to give up my precious sleep over this, boy, it would really kill me if this got a bad ending. Damn that fvckng cliffhanger is pissing me off 😤
