Redraw/reimagining of a piece from 2013~

This is the first time I've tried lineless art in years and it was a huge challenge. but I am SUPER happy with the end result!

In addition to working on a few commissions, I'm actually drawing things for myself again. this is a big deal for me because it's been almost three years since I've been able to devote any reasonable amount of time to drawing. So I really haven't improved much artistically in three years, which is discouraging, but I'm not letting it keep me from practicing and trying new things. Here's a peek at a few things I'm working on, and I can't wait to share the final results!!

Another commission for the lovely @lunahallowell, which is actually a scene from her story! She even shared it with me and I included some of her sweet dialogue for Melvin, who is attempting to comfort little Florence after a very scary situation in a bog which leaves Melvin ill. I was so touched by her story and the interaction between these two.

I updated my Father's Day picture from last year to now include our newest addition, Baby Squish, as well as a toddler version of Baby Bean!

just wanted to add that if you’ve been thinking about getting one, I would definitely jump on the opportunity now since I’m due to have another baby in a week and a half (earlier, or later, depending!) so my time to work on your commission will be limited unless I’m able to start now. I will be closing commissions again for a while after the baby is born!

I had hoped my first Mob fan art would be a lot more polished than this, but I am still just getting used to drawing on my iPad. I have no idea how this is going to look after I upload it

I finished a commission for @plutonis which is a scene from her Pinky and the Brain fan fiction, “Equivocal”. She did her own illustrations for the fic, but asked me to put my spin on one of the scenes. I was heavily inspired by the color palettes she used :D

this will be my husband’s first Father’s Day with our baby daughter! she was still a tiny little bean in my belly last year on Father’s Day, so this year it’s extra special. this was actually a sketch I drew of my husband and I back when we first got engaged (he’s been badgering me to finish it for like a year and a half, lol), but I decided to finish it and add our baby girl. I love my little family!
