I love my boobie cactus so much 🥰 It has already grown quite a bit in the three weeks that I've had it. I also learned today that they are capable of growing up to 13 feet tall. That was when I realized that I can probably at least grow it to half of that if I take good care of it, which means I will one day have a six foot tall boobie cactus.
These are my goals 😂 It is growing its third new row of boobs since I've brought it home! Idk what they're called I really don't lol

Listing these girls for sale soon. I've been waiting on my Alocasia Pups to grow more leaves before posting those as well but for some reason they've stunted at one.
Hoya Fitchii 2" pot (waiting two more weeks as I transplanted today)
Philodendron Birkin 4" pot
Syngonium Confetti 4" pot
I actually was able to split up the Fitchii that I had already, so I will still have my own full one:

My Angel Wing Begonia really needs new soil/pot and a new set up for her to grow. I've had her for a few months and she refuses to stop growing! I think I may prop her to make a few more when I get around to repotting her. In the second picture, the leaf on the left that looks torn in half, my son actually told me he did it on accident.
I am so thankful my (almost) three year old knows he can be honest with me. It's ok baby, it's just a plant ✨💚

Alocasias Polly, Platinum, and Unknown (next to Polly, I think a Wentii?) have been repotted. My fingers are super crossed. I hate messing with their roots but it was time to get them out of what I bought them in. I thought I would have found a lot more corms but only the Polly had some (five that I took, a couple large more still attached).
My Silver Dragon, BN, and Yellow Variegated Alocasia Gageana Aurea are doing wonderfully! The BN has some corms in there but I just want to let them grow so it can be as full as it wants. There is an offshoot that is above the soil. I'm keeping an eye on it as it continues to grow larger. Not sure if I should cut it off or let it keep growing up and out of the soil?

The Gageana Aurea has taken OFF. I bought it as a small starter and now it's grown another already. Super proud.

Lastly my two precious babes: my baby Reverkin and my Sport variegated Silver Dragon, both grown from my own mother plants.

Ignore the mess.... I know I need to update with everyone, but real quick here is something from today:
My Alocasia Dragon Scale is flowering! My green Unicorn already flowered and I saved the flower in the freezer...I'm debating trying to cross pollinate. Don't 100% know if it will work but worth a try 🤷🏻‍♀️ (Update: apparently a GU is a hybrid of a DS and an Azlanii, so I probably won't).
Here are all my Alocasia Pups, still sitting at one leaf for most. Green Unicorn corms are in the back dome, and the 5 Polly corms I harvested during its repot today are in the dome up front.

My Alocasia Pups are finally transplanted into their first pots! I had originally planted twelve corms but had a 66% success rate. That is super pleasing for my first time growing corms. Especially since one of them ended up having some sport variegation. One of the silver dragons and a melo is already sold to a friend. I am keeping the larger Melo and the variegated silver dragon for myself. The rest I plan on selling :)

My bonsai seedlings are planted :) The roots look really great for how young they are (planted 24 days ago). I'm excited to see how it goes.

Today is my 34th birthday 🎈 I took the day off and repotted some plants I have been putting off for a long time. I bought more supplies to make my substrate but I think the soil has fungus gnats and I don't feel like dealing with that today. Instead I used the left of what I had and finally got my baby red moon off of its mom so I can grow it a little more to sell once some red starts coming. My Thai Con I think is going to be much happier. I understand the pot looks large but her previous pot was pretty much all roots anymore so she needed the room to breathe. My Moonshine Ficus also has been waiting almost since I bought it for a new pot. I'm excited to see how it likes it 🥰

Here is my other blog, which is much more personal. It is a deep dive into my thoughts regarding topics I never speak to others about. Not because I don't want to but because no one has shown interest. When I start talking about reality and metarationalism my coworkers get wide eyed and don't understand what I'm saying at all, which is totally fine I understand not everyone thinks about that stuff.
Anyway, check it out if you're interested!

Little updates!
Feeding day for some of the jungle! Shout-out to my Black Cardinal Philodendron, another plant I at one point was ready to toss out. It had kept losing leaves and just would not grow a leaf without getting completely stuck...well going on a year later and she is getting bushy and BIG! I took some Hoya cuttings from one that was dying. I had never repotted it once I brought it home from a big box store and it slowly began dying away. I've had success water propping hoyas before so I figured another jar won't hurt. Some close ups of the Alocasia Pups! I really don't know why they aren't growing second leaves 🤔 Last but not least an update of the bonsai seedlings!

Another new leaf on the Bird of Paradise 🦜🌿
I'm really happy I was able to capture the gradient effect of the new leaf this time. Such a cool display of nature 😍
And yes she definitely needs a repot like super bad 😅 The roots have cooled at the bottom of the pot and are pushing up, so there isn't really soil at the bottom of the pot anymore. Instead of just growing through like a normal plant it's fine it's fine. I'm proud of her!

Spent some time in Manitou Springs today and am so glad that I did! There were a couple of new stores that I really enjoyed, one of which had a boobie cactus! I know they have been coming out at Walmart from Costa Farms for like thirty bucks I think, but I would much rather give more money to a local shop for a more mature, established one (it was $75). I have only seen one other one a tad bigger than this that was for like $200, so I decided it was time. She's a beauty!

More of the same. Super excited about the spot on the silver dragon pup, even more so that it has survived the repot this well for this long. I think it's going to make it 😍 I know have three different varieties of bonsais sprouting. I'm super excited for the new Flame strain as they are beautiful! And lastly just an update on my Maria Allusion Syngonium and whatever the other one on the right is. Does anyone have an ID for that??

I have a seedling! Black Locust Bonsai. Fingers crossed the Pigeon Pea keeps growing. I haven't seen any other growth from the other three strains yet. I hope this is one I can pass down to my son when he leaves one day (he's only almost three, just thinking ahead for memories 😊)
