I’m having a fucking X-Men movie Renaissance, except it’s the three movies nobody cares about and the ship nobody cares about and all I want to do is write about how right Logan and Rogue are for each other.  And draw pictures. The ending of Dark Phoenix makes me feel insane because it's the first time cherik roles are reversed. Charles is so done after all, and Erik is the one begging him to move with him, pathetically. Karma is a bitch.

Oh idk maybe the look of realization in Charles' eyes when Erik pulls out the coin and Charles knows his Erik is gone

And maybe then the silent begging in his eyes when he realizes he's going to indure probably the most pain in his life ever, when he realizes he's going to feel Shaw dying

And maybe then the way he prepares himself for the pain because he knows he can't risk Erik getting hurt by letting go of Shaws mind and he knows Erik won't stop

This whole scene is my favourite horror movie.
