Its come to my attention (FYP) people are very concerned about QSMP 2, here is my 2 cents,

To assume the worst, is draining.

Unfortunately its human nature to assume the worst in scenarios and your concerns are valid, but to hate on something before its begun is quite damaging to your mental health and thats not a healthy or happy way to live. If you are genuinely struggling with the idea of QSMP 2 being terrible or admins being mistreated, please come off the internet and look after yourself. See people you love, reconnect with nature. There are bigger priorities, and you're the top one

Ex-admins and content creators have shown support for Quackity

I don't just mean the past 24ish hours. For months, for over a year people have remained friends with Quackity which is incredibly telling to how good of a person he is. No one (to my understanding, and from what we can see as viewers) has cut Quackity from their life.

It has been proven the situation was not his fault, though he is the face of QSMP and holds responsibility, it is not by his doing workers were under paid. And the admins and his friends showing their respect and appreciation for Quackity over and over. Many have thanked him for the opportunities.

Admins being mistreated and unpaid is unlikely to reoccur

Now, i wont say 100% it wont happen because im not in charge i dont see the future and I have no connections to anything QSMP I'm judt a viewer. But, when people make mistakes, they learn from them. In a general sense. If admins are hired i imagine Quackity studios will ensure there are documents and benefits and all sorts to accommodate a high working standard in order to prevent this reoccurring and causing harm to people once again.

Quackity will likely be more involved in all aspects of QSMP 2, ensuring people are safe and treated with respect.

Your feelings are valid

You dont want to see something so important to you be ruined. Its only natural you want to preserve it. The anxieties are natural given what has happened to QSMP. Just be aware we know very, very little and to assume QSMP 2 will be "worse" or workers will be unpaid, is draining to imagine.

How you react to this is your choice, just be mindful of how you're handling it and be aware we do not know much at all.

The UK supreme court has ruled the definition of a "woman" to mean "biological women". This means trans women WITH GENDER RECOGNITION CERTIFICATES ARE NO LONGER CONSIDERED WOMEN LEGALLY

This means they cannot use women's bathrooms. This means they cannot change in women's changing rooms.

This was funded by JK Rowling.

I may be trans-masc/trans-neutral but this affects EVERYONE INCLUDING MINORITIES OUTSIDE OF THE LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY

We aren't going fucking anywhere. We survived section 28 and we'll survive this too. You can't get rid of us and you won't.

Thanks to recent news I'd just like to say that you're welcomed here, no matter if you're trans, queer, aro, ace, poc, disabled... You're safe here and we will fight for all of us to have our deserved rights ❤️

Please don't lose hope, change is slower than preferred and sometimes it does feel that it is a step forward and two steps back... But trust me, even if agonizingly slow, progress is real. If you can, donate, fight for people who are being mistreated, make a safe space for them, do it. But even if you're in a place you can't really show your support, a hug and a few words to someone can do more than you could ever imagine.

Don't let these people ruin our hope ❤️

As someone from the UK I am disgusted by the supreme court ruling to define a woman by their "biology". And I know the UK is not the only place where this applies to. It completely negates the social constructs of gender and the biology of chromosomes and s*x. It's basic biology. Truly. Something I learnt when I was 12 years old.

To all trans, non binary, and gender non conforming people on tumblr and the world I wish you all the best in life and know the fight is not done. You're strong and powerful and your identity can not be excluded by cis, straight white people in power. You are not defined by chromosomes.

Qsmp has a legacy that will forever live on. There are so many people I wouldn't have met without it either. A silly little minecraft rp server brought us all together and continues to impact us daily and that's something they can never take away ❤️ it's really beautiful how many words were exchanged, phrases picked up, languages learned, barriers broken, laughs and smiles and memories shared all because of qsmp. It holds such a positive place for us to learn from one another and that's a beauty and a legacy I'm forever grateful for. I met my family through qsmp. I got my twin brother, I got people I consider my siblings, I have close friends and family because of qsmp and I know I'm not the only one. I know there are thousands of people who have gained so much from qsmp and that's an honour to have lived through

Question: What is your favorite SMP you've been in?

Phil: Probably QSMP? It's close. It's like that- it's between that and SMP Earth, because me and Techno just fckin' ruled with an iron fist. But QSMP definitely inches forward because of how many new friends I made, that I would NEVER have made before QSMP, 'cuz how the fck was I ever gonna learn about Etoiles, Roier, or Cellbit? When- when was that ever happening? Fcking never! [Laughs]

Phil: Without QSMP, would we have met Baghera? No. [Laughs] Would we have met Antoine? No. Like– there's literally SO many fckin' people like, we would NEVER have known or interacted with because of the language barrier.
