✎ Relationship HC’s (Kankuro, Darui)

A/N: so I’m proud I actually managed to whip a post out lol, also Kank and Darui are some of my fav characters and I’m sad I haven’t written much for either of them... anyways, enjoy and thank you for requesting this, wonderful anon!

Kankurou

So we can just jump straight into it here: you’re gonna have to put up with all the puppets. Like when you come over to his apartment for the first time you probably have 5 mini heart attacks. You’re shrieking around every corner you turn because there is always damn puppet there waiting for you. Sometimes it’s not even a full puppet, just a puppet limb. This continues to scare the shit out of you when you move eventually move in too. Like it’s something you cannot escape.

Yes, he does have a work room, but his work is not limited to that room (that’s what he’ll sassily tell you as he picks up the puppet you flung across the room because it basically jump scared you.) However.. Little by little you notice that he starts to leave less and less puppet parts around the house, which is really touching because Kank can be stubborn as fuck sometimes.

Also, he loves when you come over and sit on his lap while he works on one of his puppets; bonus if you let him blab about them. Honestly you don’t have to even listen, just make it look like you are. Let your hands play with his hair as you nod along whenever he pauses his sentence, knowing it’s a cue for a little response from you.

One of the scariest things you’ll have to deal with in the relationship is when Kankurou casually has conversations with his puppets. Like one night you came home a little late from work and you heard your boyfriend talking in a hushed tone and you’re like?? Who’s he talking to?? Figured it was Gaara because let’s be real.. Kank does not have a side hoe, he cannot get a side hoe, even if he wanted. So anyway.. You didn’t want to bother him, so you just quietly walk into the work room to peek inside, only to find Kank talking to one of his puppets. He notices you at the door and stops mid conversation and clears his throat, but it’s too late, you’ve already heard him.

“Kank.. babe.. we’re you talking to your puppet just now?” He just stares at you sheepishly, but the puppets still perched on his lap nonetheless, “... There’s no point in me denying it is there?”

He’s kinda shitty at gift giving on special occasions. Like he is just is so fucking bad that you’ve accepted the fact that your birthday gift will be a teddy bear like every single year. But he makes up for it with the random gifts he gives you throughout the year. Like if you’ve been away for a long time you always come home to some sort of cute little puppet waiting for you. He’s made one of your favourite animal, favourite anime character, mini versions of his own puppets, etc. At this point in the relationship you’re starting to get used to the puppets, so you end up keeping them on a shelf in your room. He always gets so giddy when he comes to your place and sees them displayed like that. And loves it even more when you keep them displayed after you move in together.

Sorry sweetheart, but if you do not like his siblings.. NEXT CALLER. Bye. He’s ending the relationship right there. But if you get along with them his heart melts, especially if you and Gaara become friends. Or like if you can remotely handle Gaara pre chunin exams. Yah will do it. He’s head over heels for you. You’re both protective mama bears now and will keep Temari and Gaara safe with your lives and vice versa.

Badass fighting duo. If anyone wants to fuck with Gaara or Temari you two are gonna fuck shit up to say the least. But even on missions too, like you guys can read eachother perfectly and even if you were bickering before the battle starts — all the tension goes out the window and you’re focused on the problem at hand. You can go back to flaming eachother afterwards. Just a little side note: he loves showing off his puppet skills. So don’t be surprised if he calls out “y/n! Babe! Y/n! Over here — This is how the Ant looks in action.” Then he proceeds to iron maiden the victim. Give him a thumbs up and congratulate him please. Even if it’s kinda a very graphic scene.

Kinda fucks with PDA tbh, like he tones it down once Gaara becomes Kazekage because he needs to keep up a respectable image, but still does light PDA. Pre Kazekage Gaara, he would suck your face off anywhere. But when Gaara becomes Kage, he just gives you quick kisses instead. Doesn’t go for handholding a lot, prefers having an arm around your shoulders or around your waist. Slaps your ass too, if there isn’t a lot of people around and he can get away with it. If you wanna make him jealous though, all that composure goes out the window.

KISS HIS HANDS. LOVE HIS HANDS. When you’re at home and you two are cuddling, run your thumb lightly over his knuckles, over his calloused palms, kiss the pads of his fingers... it just makes him so soft lol. Like kiss the scars of blisters or scratches from his work tools and he’s putty in your hands girl.

I’m 100% sure that Kank can handle a moody / bratty s/o. Like you’ve got a little spice? He can take that. Afterall, he handled little moody pre teen Gaara before, I’m sure he can handle you. Doesn’t mean he isn’t stubborn though, he won’t let you win arguments. Which is a problem if you’re stubborn too. You will argue for hours and wont even remember what you were arguing about to begin with, then one of you’ll have to be like: pause the music.. what were we even mad about? Neither of you can remember and you’ll just shrug it off and go out for ramen or something like nothing happened.

If you don’t already have somewhat of a thick skin when you start dating Kankurō, you will eventually form one. If not, shits not gonna work out. Like he’s just a teasing person and he likes to have little roast sessions, they just entertain him. He hardly ever oversteps himself when it comes to the banter, but if he does he’s kinda oblivious. If you start crying though he’ll feel so bad, like it was just mindless teasing he didn’t mean to make you cry. Will remember what made you react like that and won’t ever mention it again.

I think he also tells the best stories. Like he just has the best expressions and voice for it. Not to mention having a jinchuuriki and Kazekage as his brother; he’s experienced some crazy shit. He mindlessly babbles them out to you whenever something reminds him of that particular time. Like if he sees a person walking their dog, it brings him back to the time when he defended kiba against one of the Sound Four. Then boom. He just randomly blurts out the story as you two are walking.

Kankurou is a surprisingly good cuddler. He always wants to be the big spoon and likes to pull you close to his chest and sling his arm around you lazily when you’re watching tv together . He’s constantly getting his hands tangled in your hair because he loves to play with it. Sometimes if you fall asleep while he’s cuddling you, you’ll wake up two French braids or something. Honestly, you’ll be shocked at how he managed to do that at first, but let’s be real he probably styles his puppets hair in his free time.

Overall an entertaining s/o, I would reccomend.

Darui

Oh boyyyyyy... Where do I start with this guy? He’s such an amazing hype man. Like Darui is so fucking flattered that he managed to score such a smart and gorgeous person that he will never let you forget it. He swings you compliments all the time and they don’t even sound overbearing from him because he’s just that cool. Even the way he compliments you is cool. Don’t forget to compliment him too though.... pls be eachothers hype men.

He’s also the loyalist man you will ever meet — we see what he’s like with the Raikage, you can’t tell me otherwise. Like once the two of you are officially dating he is committed 100% to you and will do anything for you. So do not mistake his laid back demeanour for laziness because when it comes to your relationship he is ready to do whatever you want. You want a certain flavour of ice cream, but the store ran out? He will go to every single grocery store in the village to find you that flavour for you. His s/o deserves the best and if they can’t have their favourite ice cream then he won’t rest till they do. Literally. Sometimes you have to go out and find him and tell him it’s okay and that he can come home, you don’t need that flavour that badly.

Handles periods the best too. Like he’s actually mature about it for the most part. Will 100% go out and buy you tampons or pads because like I said, he will do whatever you want. He’s also practically a human heater so he will lay down with you and cuddle you to help relieve some of the cramp pains. Can figure out when you’re PMSing too and will handle it well too. Like you’re literally just spazzing out in the middle of the kitchen and you’re yelling about something that happened 2 years ago, he he just pulls you into a hug and holds you there until your anger dies down a little bit, then he picks you up and tucks you into bed. Idk how it works, but it does. Every single time.

When it comes to gift giving he’s so subtle about it. Like he isn’t the type to do something extravagant and flashy for his s/o, but his gifts are still so thoughtful and considerate that you can’t help but blush at them. He’s observant and he notices the things you like, what you talk about more than other things, etc. He takes all that into account when he wants to buy you a gift and every year he never fails to melt your heart. It also makes him super giddy when he sees you wearing / displaying his gifts in your room or something. He is always so insecure when he actually hands you the gift though, but the look of joy on your face instantly washes his hesitance away.

Honestly you two are the coolest couple in the whole Cloud, like you’re just such a badass duo. Omoi and Karui love you two, Killer Bee loves you two, Cee and the Raikage too. It’s kind of funny just how invested the Raikage is, though. Definitely cries hysterically if you and Darui get into a fight, hes all like “no! You two are meant to be, this can’t be happening!” And Darui is like... sir it was a minor fight, we’re still together... Killer Bee has also definitely made a rap about you two or at least used you two for a line in his rap. It was pretty garbage, but it’s the thought that counts; plus you guys are so cool that the rap just automatically becomes cool too.

Darui constantly apologizes for things that aren’t his fault. You learn to get used to it, but it’s a little confusing at first. One night he came to your apartment all depressed looking and he’s like “y/n, I’m so sorry, but I have to tell you this now.” And you think his ass is cheating on you or something because of how solemn he looks so you’re bracing yourself for the worst, when in reality he just wants to postpone your date an hour or two because he has to help the Raikage with something. You just stare at him for a good five minutes because wtf why didn’t he just call you? Like why does he look so distressed over something as minor as that??

Your fights don’t last very long at all. He’s a reasonable and understanding person, so he doesn’t initiate fights very often. I feel like you guys only really fight when it comes down to spending too much time apart. Like he’s been too busy with being the Raikages second hand man and you’ve been occupied with missions and your own business, you two just miss each other and kind of end up getting frustrated with each other and eventually you guys snap. Like you can’t make the date on Friday and want to re schedule, but Friday’s the only day he can make it. Cue snappy comments and one of you hanging up the phone on the other. Daruis always the first one to apologize though, go figure.

You guys are also another badass duo when it comes to fighting, like he’s super observant of you and he knows your next move before you know it. If you’re a bit on the impulsive side he’ll lowkey get frustrated because he doesn’t want you to get hurt when it’s something he can prevent. Especially if you’re fighting together, like he doesn’t want that on his conscience. Like you will never stop hearing him apologize if you get injured when he could have prevented it. You constantly have to shut him up lol.

Honestly playing with his hair is the best, he actually likes when you try and take care of it too. Even if it doesn’t work out all the time because you can’t really tame it, he loves the feeling of your fingers massaging his scalp anyway. So he’ll let you have your fun, but only you can touch it. His hair just feels so fucking nice too, like you have to refrain yourself from running your hands through his hair randomly. You definitely fluff it sometimes though.

He likes to be the big spoon when you two cuddle, but he doesn’t mind being the little one sometimes — only if you play with his hair though. Like just start running your hands through his hair and he’ll pass out just like that. Really likes when you lay your head on his chest and you just kind of sprawl yourself ontop of him. Sometimes he does that to you instead, especially after a long mission where he hasn’t seen you for a long time. He just lays his head on your chest and loves the feeling of your chest rising and falling gently as you sleep.

He is not that into pda, will wrap an arm around you or give you his jacket when you’re cold, but does not make out with you in public. If he’s feeling needy then he will simply pull you into an alley and kiss you there, but he’s pretty good at controlling himself and hardly ever needs to do that. Gives you occasional kisses on the cheek though, but absolutely no touching around the Raikage. Even if the Raikage literally doesn’t care. Darui just thinks it’s uncool.

You guys have super chill dates. Like just going out to dinner or hanging out at each others houses. The best dates are the spontaneous ones. Darui doesn’t do them all that often, but whenever there’s like a thunderstorm or a rainstorm outside, he will run to your place and you two will watch it together. Like just perch yourselves on the windowsill with a bunch of blankets and some snacks and you’re good to go. It’s kinda dangerous but both of your definitely fall asleep on the windowsill.

10/10 overall. Darui is so fucking cool he owns my ass.

Naruto

Omg he always encounters Karen’s. Whether they’re Karen’s yelling at him for fighting w their bratty kid on the playground or yelling at naruto for cutting supermarket lines — they’re always there waiting.

But they don’t phase him as much now that he’s used to them. Karen wants the manager to sort this out? Nah hoe. He’ll fight her right now.

He’s the final boss all Karen’s fear.

Always fights them LMFAO. “What’re you looking at, old lady?”, “I think somebody forgot their essential oils today, wrinkled hag.”

literally has the best comebacks for Karen’s.

The Leaf village Karen’s fear him because he won’t back down when they try and put him in his place

And my G O D they tick him off so easily oml. And we all know how crazy Naruto gets when he’s ticked off.

Always fights their bratty kids. Like it always starts somehow w the kid.

This one brat just stomped on his foot because he wouldn’t give up the last box of instant ramen at the supermarket, so now they’re roasting each other as they should

and all the sudden the mom comes in.

The interference of Karen is the only thing that stopped Naruto from pummeling that kid LOLL. “Let the kid sort it out for himself, ya old lady!”

Has the best boomer roasts. That’s one of the first attacks he makes on Karen’s.

“Ok boomer.” Usually frustrates the fuck out of them and angers them enough to storm away.

If they somehow withstand that, he goes in for the essential oils disses and keeps bringing more and more weapons out until they’re running away quaking.

Sasuke

Nah sis

The first Karen to ever try and pick a fight with him is scarred for life. Seriously. He whipped his sword out and was about to end that hoe, luckily Kakashi stepped in.

Has 0 tolerance for that bullshit.

Karen’s fear both Naruto and Sasuke, but they handle them very differently.

Now, I think some Karen’s are intellectual, when they’re not demanding to speak to the manager of course.

So naturally, many of them get the message that they cannot mess with Sasuke Uchiha. One glance at him and the threat of getting them kicked out of the store dies on their tongue bc they realize if they don’t shut up they might actually die hdjdjsjsjsj

Lots of angry glares.

Won’t give them the time of day, like they wanna fight him for taking the last lavender essential oil. Sasuke is a slut 4 lavender essential oil you can’t change my mind. So he turns to face them and gives them the “im done w ur bs” look and the signature “tch” and they immediately back off.

Literally imagine Sasuke and a Karen having a staring competition over the last essential oil. Goodbye.

Neji

This man is a KAREN! Sometimes at least lol

He doesn’t encounter many horrible Karen’s though

If they ever wanna try him he probably turns around surprised — looking like that shook pikachu meme

He’s so offended like who does this old lady with a Starbucks frappe think she is?

“Excuse me... what?”

Literally just stares at them repulsed while they yell at him for taking their last bottle of their favourite shampoo of the shelf.

“But this is my favourite shampoo as well. It does such a good job in my hair and it makes it smell like vanilla.”

Then all the sudden they end up bonding over shampoo

Still keeps the last bottle for himself tho like he clings to it for dear life

Probably ends up getting invited to their PTA meetings

He’s the Karen’s poster boy

They all lowkey think Nejis fine asf

Naruto and Kiba tease the crap out of him for being the Karens idol, but the Karen’s won’t hesitate to protect him

It’s like the 5th great ninja war but with Karen’s VS 2 sixteen year old boys and Neji just watches it all go down

Sakura

I headcanon her as a Karen

Someone probably just butted the line in the market and she’s about to tap them on the shoulder and give them a piece of her mind, but another lady does the same

Time stops

They just look at eachother knowing exactly what they have to do

And they fight the line skipper together

Then as a parting gift after their bonding experience, the Karen gifts her a bath and body works candle and some essential oils.

She too is now invited to PTA meetings.

Also invited to sewing club, cooking club, etc.

Sakura is a slut for essential oils so we already know she’ll fit in with the others

And she likes herbs and stuff so she talks about remedies with them

They all get along so well with her because she’s literally just a mini Karen. Like a soon to be Karen

Praised often for beating up Naruto, he is the Karen’s arch nemesis after all

Rock Lee

He cries when he encounters his first few Karen’s

He was running through the village one time when a little girl cuts in front of him all of the sudden and he hits her

He quickly catches her before she falls though

But her mom — a fellow Karen, was loosing her shit.

Cries and begs for her forgiveness

Is literally on the floor crying

The Karen is satisfied with this and let’s him go with very little verbal abuse lol

That’s how he handles most of his encounters

“I’m so sorry! Please, ma’am, forgive me!” Really excessive crying and laying on the floor because Karen’s scare the fuck out of him

Some feel bad for him and sprinkle some essential oils on him to calm his aura or some shit

They like that they can push him around tbh

Probably refer to him as the “respectable young man who knows his place”

Does chores for any Karen that asks, he's too scared to say no

He also gets special treatment when they find out he’s nejis friend

✎ Jealous Shisui HC’s

This guy really isn’t a crazy jealous person, if I’m being honest I think he’s pretty understanding. He’s also very trusting in you, he knows that you wouldn’t do anything to hurt him or the relationship.

But sometimes even Shisui Uchiha can get a little bit jealous.

He doesn’t want to, but he can’t control himself. Happens especially when he hasn’t seen you for a long time.

Like he was away on a mission for a few days and right when he got back you had to leave on one yourself. He waits at the main gate to pick you up and that’s when he sees you laughing along with some other Shinobi guy he’d never seen before.

It kind of hits a nerve in him for some reason. Like he’s never been jealous of seeing you with other boys before, even ninjas. It’s just the fact that another boy was laughing with you before he could.

Like you’ve been away from eachother for a week now and he wants nothing more than to just kiss you and make you laugh for the rest of the night.

So it actually kind of angers him when you walk up to him, with a tilted head. “Hey, Shisui!” You kiss him quickly before turning your attention back to the ninja you were laughing with and the rest of the team. “Is it okay with you if I go and get some food with the team? Just to celebrate?”

Mans doesn’t even realize he’s gritting his teeth. He mentally slaps himself, trying to hide his disappointment. “Uhm. No, it’s okay. We can just catch up tonight I guess.” His tones kind of bitter, but the stupid ninja from before drags you away with the rest of the team.

So Shisui walks to your shared apartment alone, unable to shake the angry feelings and thoughts of you and the stupid laughing ninja.

It literally eats at him and he’s also feeling so guilty for being like this. He keeps telling himself that it’s okay and he’s going to be home alone with you in a few hours, then you can make her laugh and listen to her mission details.

But you don’t come home till late and Shisui finally lets the bitterness win.

When you unlock the door to your apartment he looks up at you with a moody face and bitter tone and says “Did you have your fun?”

It’s such an out of character thing for him to say and it kind of stuns you for a second and it stuns him too and you both just stare at eachother.

“I.. I’m sorry, y/n. I don’t know what came over me.” Feels so guilty and he just gets up hugs you because that’s really all he’s wanted to do.

Sits you down on the couch with him and he tells you how he feels. He’s the type to talk through his emotions and try and resolve the problem.

You know he didn’t mean it and you understand where he’s coming from, afterall you’ve felt the same way before.

Just tell him it’s okay and let him cuddle you while he listens to you talk about your mission. That’s honestly all he’s wanted for the past week.

A/N: so I took this idea and got carried away 😣

Pairing: Gaara x reader

✎ Sleep Deprived

Gaara watched y/n’s sleeping form as the soft light of the moon danced along her face. Minutes earlier she had insisted she wouldn’t fall asleep until he did, but her body betrayed her and there she was now; snoring with her back against the headboard of the bed. Her legs were curled into her body as she snored softly. He thought about moving her into a laying position, thinking it would be more comfortable for her — but he didn’t want to wake her up.

She looked peaceful now, for the first time all day.. he thought to himself noticing the worry completely washed from her face as she was successfully pulled into the dream world. He found himself being comforted by her chests gentle rises and falls, allowing his thoughts to pull him back to earlier in the day...

Y/n opened the door to their shared apartment, keys jangling in the lock, before carefully helping her boyfriend inside. It was the first time he had been there since the whole Akatsuki ordeal had happened a few days ago.

As he entered, the familiar smell of it wafted up his nose, causing him to breathe it in deeply. The scent was a blend of y/n’s lilac shampoo and leaves — which the houseplants Gaara scattered around every corner of your shared space we’re responsible for. He took another deep breath and was hit with the realization that he actually missed this smell. He wanted to comment on that sudden revelation, but now just didn’t seem the appropriate time and the words fizzled out on his tongue.

The room was dark as they stood in the entryway. The hospital had discharged him at around nine thirty at night — wanting to run their tests again and double check that everything was clear before sending their beloved kazekage home. Y/n fumbled to flick on the lights. After managing to locate the switch and turn it on, she bent down to take Gaaras shoes off. She knew he was too sore to do it himself. His own helplessness made him embarrassed, but he knew it couldn’t be helped after what he had been through.

He returned his attention to the now brightly lit apartment. He had never thought he would be this relieved to see this familiar place again. Looking around the apartment he managed a little smile as y/n to lead him into the kitchen. He looked around the apartment as she led him through the place as if he was seeing it for the first time. He was spotting things he had overlooked before, like the pictures of them with Temari and Kankuro scattered around in tacky picture frames, or the mini puppets kankuro made them that were placed on the highest shelf in the apartment — y/n was terrified of them, but didn’t have he heart to store them away somewhere.

She pulled one of the chairs out from the kitchen table, pulling his thoughts away with it. Ensuring he was okay as she sat him down, she turned away and began rummaging through the fridge, attempting to feed him something. The thought of eating right now made Gaaras stomach turn, the recent events depriving him of any desire to eat. All he wanted was to be alone with y/n and relax for the first time since he got back to the village.

However, as she scanned the fridge, he could see that y/n’s movements were far from relaxed. Her arms moved tiredly yet stiff at the same time. He caught a yawn escape her lips, he was sure that she hadn’t slept a single night since he was gone. Thoughts of her laying awake at night afraid and worried all because of him violated his brain, making his chest tighten in guilt.

His girlfriend had always loved to sleep, she never gave up an opportunity to do so. She was always going to bed early, napping on the couch in the Kazekage’s office, or falling asleep in his arms when they cuddled. It always made him smile seeing how she could do it so simply, unlike himself. He didn’t want to be the person who took that away from her.

He was once again pulled from those thoughts at the sound of containers colliding in the fridge. A result of a tried y/n’s unfocus. “Y/n,” he said gently, “I’m not hungry. You don’t have to trouble yourself.”

She paused her rummaging as he spoke and for a second he thought she wasn’t going to listen, but her body retracted from the appliance and shut it gently. There was a pause in her movements as she just stared at the metal door, looking at her dishevelled face in the blurry metal before turning to face her boyfriend. While doing so she attempted to brush her hair with her fingers and wipe at her face in an effort to look more pleasing, however; that was a difficult thing to accomplish when you hadn’t slept in a few days.

“I guess it was a feeble attempt anyway,” she sighed, “all the food’s gone bad.”

He shook his head, the food didn’t matter right now. “You need to rest, y/n.” He replied, getting up from the chair himself. She immediately rushed over to try and help her boyfriend from the chair, but he stuck his hand out as a sign of objection, “I’ll be okay, please, don’t worry.”

Though his extended arm blocked her from coming closer, he could still see that the bags under her eyes were dark. She stared at him with eyes full of exactly what he told her not to — worry. He could see the tiredness behind them.

“You need rest yourself.” She replied, another tired yawn slipping from her lips at the thought of sleep, she covered her mouth to try and hide it.

She was right, the only problem was that Gaara always had trouble sleeping. Nightmares constantly plagued his dreams, y/n had witnessed them on countless nights. Now more than ever he could only imagine the dreams that would assault him once lulled away into that foreign world. If it was up to him he would stay awake for ever, but he knew that was impossible.

They remained in silence as he managed to stand shakily, making his way to their bedroom. Her silence was full of anxiety and worry, his was full of contemplation as he weakly managed to walk into their shared bedroom. Y/n wanted to wrap her arms around him and help him into bed herself. Instead she had to settle for watching him anxiously as he finally managed to make it inside. He sat on his designated side of the bed with a groan and began an attempt to take his shirt off and change; the fabric reeking with odour of the hospital. It was a failed attempt and he groaned painfully at the stinging soreness in his back that followed his movements. Y/n, whos attention was on picking a fresh white t-shirt from his dresser for him, rushed over quickly.

“Gaara,” she said, her voice soft and pleading, “stop it, I’m here to help you,” her fingers gripped the bottom of his shirt. “You don’t need to do everything alone all the time.”

She lifted the hem of the shirt and began to pull it off him slowly. He tried to lift his arms to help her but her mouth did a little “tsk,” causing him to stop. The sound was y/n’s way of reprimanding him for something. He let his arms fall back to his sides indignantly as she carefully she guided the neckline of his shirt over his head along with the rest of the fabric, finally guiding the shirt down his arms. In another movement, she turned around and tossed the shirt into the laundry basket, returning to her previous task of retrieving a shirt for him.

Gaara found himself looking down at the floor as he waited for her to to get the shirt she had abandoned on the dresser.

They hadn’t talked much. He didn’t want to talk about what happened anymore. Not now at least.

If he told her what he went through... the feeling of his life draining away... Then he knew she for sure she wouldn’t sleep tonight and he didn’t want to make her suffer anymore. So instead he let her carefully slip a new shirt onto him. Moving his body slightly to help her change his pants too.

He held his hand out to in objection like earlier as stopped her from helping him into bed, “I told you not to worry. Get changed, I’ll be fine.” There was no irritation in his voice, it was more a tone attempting to encourage her to focus on her own needs. She nodded at his words, biting back her frustration. Maybe she was babying him a little, he is the Kazekage after all. He can manage somethings on his own right now.

She let out a little hesitant sound of agreement as she moved to change her own clothes. Hers were also stained with the smell of the hospital and he they were also horribly disheveled. Settling into a loose fitted shirt and pyjama shorts, y/n climbed into bed beside him.

The two laid there in silence for about ten minutes. Both of them swallowed by their own thoughts, watching the clouds shifting in the sky though the half shut curtains. A few moments later, y/n turned to see if her boyfriend had fallen asleep yet.

He hadn’t.

She sighed and sat up. Gaara watched her questioningly as she tossed her pillow to her feet, taking its place against the headboard, “I won’t fall asleep. Not until you do.” The girl declared officially, pulling her knees to her chest as she leaned back against the frame.

“Y/n-“

“No, it’s not up for debate,” She said shaking her head, her mind made up already, “I can see that you’re tired too, but you’re refusing to let yourself close your eyes.” You’re scared to sleep, she thought to herself, that’s why I’ll watch over you.

“But-“

“Tsk.”

He shifted in the bed at her scolding, retiring his attempt to get her to lay back down. Instead he settled for waiting it out. Afterall she did love sleep and needed it desperately, so now it was just a battle between her mind and body.

It looked like her body had won was she snores softly. After recalling the day, he grew even more aware of just how tired he was himself. He knew it was inevitable that he was going to need to sleep, but he was surprised how much y/n’s sleeping form coaxed him into closing his own eyes.

Maybe I’ll be as peaceful as she is, he thought to himself letting his heavy lidded eyes shut. He felt the tiredness of his body cover him like a blanket swiftly slipping him off to that dreamworld he had come to dread so much.

Gaaras body was still and unmoving as he lay on the ground, feeling the familiar texture of hot sand below him. He tried to move his head to look at his surroundings, but he couldn’t; his body was protesting his every move.

“Gaara..” a voice sobbed, he instantly identified that crying voice as y/n’s. He tried to call out, try and move his eyes — but it was just as pointless as the last attempt. “Don’t leave me, Gaara, please...”

He felt his body being pulled at and it felt as though something had reached inside, but the culprit was invisible. The uncomfortable feeling persisted until it latched onto something. He began to sweat. The other worldly creature yanked, it felt as if his soul had been pulled from his body and he felt himself being dragged upwards. As he was dragged away, he watched y/n below, clutching his limp body to her chest. He let out a surprised breath at seeing his body on the floor, realizing what was happening. So this was his soul drifting away... He was going to die.

He woke up.

Y/n was gently shaking him and as his eyes flew open he choked on words. He must have been screaming in his sleep. Sitting up he stared at y/n, worry slowly dying on his face as he realized it was just a dream.

It was just a dream.

He sighed in relief before breaking the silence, “Sorry, did I wake you?” The girl shook her head before sitting cross legged, facing him as she responded, “Doesn’t matter. Are you okay?”

“I’m fine... bad dream.” It didn’t need to be explained, but he felt like he had to say it anyways. Y/n watched him for a moment, just to make sure he really was okay — or as okay as he could be right now.

They fell into a comfortable silence. Y/n watching the night sky from her seat on the bed and Gaara watching her soft features as she did so. It’s nice, having quiet moments like these together, Gaara thought as he watched her wandering eyes roam the expanse the window had to offer.

Her hand was holding his, playing his fingers as she stared out the window. She knew he wasn’t comfortable with big gestures of affection, so whenever he had a nightmare she always settled for comforting him in a small way. Like playing with his hands, tangling her fingers in his hair or laying a hand on his arm.

She’s always there for me. He felt his heart swelling with an un familiar emotion at the thought, he liked it though — it was a sensation he only felt around her. Though he couldn’t quite place what emotion it was, he knew it was something good. Maybe it was love.

“Thank you, y/n.” He said it without even really thinking, but he meant it. She looked him curiously before responding, “Thank you for what?” Shrugging a little unable to really explain what exactly he was thankful for, he shifted his gaze to the window before he settled on a response.

“For everything.”

Okay, if it isn’t obvious already — Haku and Zabuza are a package deal. You can’t dislike Haku. He will kill you if you do tbh.

That being said, Haku is a pretty easy person to like if you get on his good side. You’ll probably end up being best friends tbh. Zabuza will lowkey be jealous. Like Haku and you will paint your nails together and braid each others hair and Zabuza will be teasing you two about it, but deep down he's happy to see his favourite people get along so well.

You and Haku are his number ones.

Always tells the two of you to stop being so soft and makes little snarky comments, but under the wraps on his mouth he's smiling.

Will not know how to take care of you when you're sick. He's just like “Get better.” Leaves it up to Haku.

Gives you a fucking sword to protect yourself and acts like you'll just know how to use it. Like bitch... If you don't know how to use it he’ll be like: “What, you don't know something as basic as sword handling.”

He will attempt to teach you, but he's such a bad teacher. Does some fancy swinging movement with his sword and is like, “now you try it.”

Like SIR... You don't even know you to hold properly or swing it NORMALLY.

He doesn’t get affectionate with you lol. Like he can’t do anything sappy or romantic at all. I think he says raunchy and questionable shit to you and that’s how he tries communicates that he likes you.

Like he says thinks like this: “I will kill anyone that gets in your way.” and by anyone he means anyone. So you just sweat nervously whenever you're in public together constantly making sure that no one bumps into you so Zabuza can't attack them.

He won’t cuddle you while you sleep, but he’ll insist you come to bed at the same time he does. He just wants your presence and to lay next to you. Maybe sometimes - if you're lucky, he’ll let you lay on him.

So he won’t hug you, but he will slap your ass lol. Like that’s his equivalent to a hug. Or like grabbing your ass. Like if he’s leaving to go do some seven ninja swordsmen mission, he’ll give your ass a squeeze when he says goodbye.

Same thing with when he greets you like: “y/n, I’m back.” And he comes into the apartment and sees you making some food in the kitchen and he’ll just smack your ass. Like how any other person would hug you or something, he would just go straight for the ass.

He also can’t kiss you gently. Like at all. He’s just a very agressive person. And he likes when your lips get all puffy or sore so he keeps doing it.

HIS TEETH. His teeth omg. Like ok this isn’t going to be turning into an NSFW headcanon I promise, but I have to say this.. if you wanna mouth off to him when you two are getting it on... he will bite your lip or whatevers closest to him to shut you up and it will not be gently. Will make you bleed.

Enjoy’s watching you hiss and try and stop the bleeding because its Zabuza of course. Swats your hand away and resumes kissing you even if you complain that your cut stings.

He’s the type to get jealous over every little thing. He doesnt care what you wear out, you wanna wear something low cut? Shanty he encourages it. But if someone looks a little too long or tries to whistle at you or something... He will end them right then and there.

PDA? Depends tbh. Like if he's in a good mood he will sling his arm around you or something, but I don't think he’ll full on suck your face off in public, especially if Haku is present. Will still slap your ass though. Wants your intimate business to be left to the two of you and only the two of you. Plus, he doesnt make many public appearances anyway.

A/N: hey!! Thanks for the request *virtual kiss* I’m actually proud of how this one turned out. I did rewrite it like 20 times after all sooo it better be to y’all’s satisfaction.

Sasuke w an Outgoing + Lovable s/o HC’s

Tbh he needs a s/o like this. Like he needs his own little ray of sunshine.

At first he’ll probably be mean asf tho. Like he doesn’t like that you make him feel all happy and warm. Plus your loud and outgoing attitude as well as your goofy grin really reminds him of Naruto. So yah, he’ll definitely be mean at first.

But you don’t really take it personally because you see that’s how he acts with everyone. You’ll just stay in your lane for the most part, but you’re a teensy bit loud so it’s kinda hard to do that. Eventually, he start to warm up to you and actually enjoys having you around, he won’t admit it though.

Likes bringing you with him when he’s doing some business for Taka or something. You make the time pass by faster and actually make long journeys more bearable.

You literally remind him of so much naruto sometimes and he hates that it gives him such a soft spot for you (after all, naruto was his only friend.) Like he ‘hates’ naruto, but you have all the amiable qualities he remembered his friend to have had and for some reason it gives him immense comfort.

Once your relationship has been going on for a bit he’s a lot more touchy with you. Only when you’re alone. Like if you two are on a mission or something alone together (which he will make a frequent thing), he’ll pick a flower and put it in your hair, or he’ll walk close enough to you that your arms will brush eachother every so often.

It’s mostly subtle gestures but they get the point across. He wouldn’t make a show out if it either, like he’ll probably have a straight face majority of the time. Which can kinda confuse you because you don’t know if he’s enjoying things or not, but trust me he is. He’s just so horrible at showing it. *lets add some sparkles here*

I think by having a more outgoing s/o it encourages him to talk a lot more and to be more affectionate. You’ll bring out a lot of the softer qualities he has that have been in hiding ever since he left the Leaf.

Likes listening to you talk. So he’ll probably set you on a little ramble just to listen. Also sends subtle glances your way every so often just to catch you with your goofy grin.

Whenever you grin like that he gently pokes you on the forehead. It’s his sign of affection. He just feels overwhelmingly content with your stupid grin. Like he eats it up everytime you do it.

He’d probably fall asleep to the sound of your voice. It makes him feel like he’s at home again, honestly. Like your voice is so warm and full of happiness that he gets sucked back into the times where he felt those emotions on a frequent basis.

So whenever you’re lying down together at night and he asks you some odd question that he knows will set you on a little ramble, it’s because he wants to sleep and your voice will help him do that. Like he’d say something like “are cats better than dogs?” and while you’re trying to defend one, you’ll hear him snoring gently and you’re like: I- this mf really fell asleep >:0

Of course you don’t wake him up, you’ll just fall asleep too.

However... Sasuke has his days where he is just so pissy. Like he’ll be bitter about everything and not even you can cheer him up. Sometimes these moods will go on for a long time, so even though you’re a very happy and loud person, you gotta know when to give him his space.

He’s usually bitter because of his path of revenge, so either your personality can hit the mark to bring him back from his brutal mood or... it’s gonna work him up even more. It’s typically the first.

If you ended up prying to much or annoying him when he’s in these moods he will be cold asf. Like he’ll probably insult you and tell you to leave him alone or say something like: “I don’t like repeating myself, I said I want to be alone, y/n.” Then you better leave or else he is gonna hurt your feelings big time.

Just because of the fact that you are so lovable, he wouldn’t ever think of laying a hand on you. Like I said, he will insult you and he’s so fucking good at it so be careful shawty. But its the fact that you remind him so much of what he has been yearning to avenge that he could never physically hurt you.

Also I think that if he makes you cry he will feel 10x worse because of what I said in the previous sentence. I know this is Sasuke, but I mean if you’re a loud happy go lucky girl who reminds him of his old life and hes the one who made you sob quietly into your hands... even he would feel bad.

He’s so fucking ass at apologizing though, so he’d probably just pull you toward him with one hand holding you and the other stroking your hair till you stop crying. Then he’ll do the little forehead poke. All of that basically means he’s saying “I’m sorry” and that’s pretty bold for Sasuke tbh

At first he’ll be like?? What is happening here, like he wouldn’t play video games so when he sees you playing he’s really intrigued. As I’ve said before, he is a supportive boyfriend so if that’s what you’re into then he’ll stand by you 10/10

Will probably watch your YouTube videos and be the first one to view it, like and comment. He’ll watch you play a lot, before he actually decides to try and play with you. When he first plays he’s actually not bad, he picks up all the things that he’s watched you do before and tries to apply them. Still loses to you, at first.

He’d definitely help you with strategies for the game too. Like he could tell you his own knowledge from his training and you could apply it to your games and it’s actually super helpful.

If you’re filming and he’s over he greets the camera like “hey guys!!” Just wholesome 10/10

When you’re not filming and you’re playing together he will want you to sit on his lap as you both play.

Likes to see you get very passionate or determined, he thinks that it’s really cute. If you win and you jump around and get all happy, he’ll probably join in. If you lose and your upset he’ll comfort you or offer to play along and try and help.

Your subscribers will like him. He’s just a likeable person I don’t care what anyone says. So like they’ll definitely mention him in the comments of your videos and they probably give you two a ship name.

Due to your subscribers asking for him to be in more videos and to actually play, he ends up making more and more frequent appearances. He actually really enjoys it too, slowly starts becoming a gamer too.

It sorta starts to become a routine and now he’s actually getting really good. Like he’s a fast learner so whatever game you play he’ll watch first. He’ll learn the controls, the powers that the characters have, how to use weapons, etc... all from watching you play like two rounds.

Then you can toss him in and sure, he may lose the first round because he’s getting a feel of the game for himself, but once he gets the hang of it he takes all the knowledge and crushes the other opponents. He’s your prodigy now and it’s your duty to train him with all the knowledge you have.

Also, once you start playing together like you can hop into a gaming lobby and everyone will be like: ah shit here we go again.. because they know that the two of you are gonna crush all of them. Your teamwork skills are excellent. Like you’re literally the ultimate duo.

If you’re a ninja as well, if you ever go on missions together you’ll probably end up naming formations and techniques after gameplays in your video games.

His favourite game to play is Animal Crossing. Try and change my mind. Like sure he likes all the other violent battle ones as well but, Animal Crossing!!

I think he’d also like less intense games like he’d love Super Mario, Mario Kart, Kirby, shit like that. However, he is good at both so if you wanna toss him into some next crazy games he will play them and he will destroy the opponents alongside you.

Has probabky tried to use sharingan in the game on his first try.

I don’t play much video games except for like.. Animal Crossing.. Mario Kart.. shit like that but I think I still served 😌✨

Naruto Characters x Reacting to a Pregnant s/o!

A/n: this was fun to write tbh. Kinda surprising bc I’ve never had that whole baby fever thing about myself but I tried my best and I’m satisfied.

Here is what I served up 😌:

Neji

When you first tell him Nejis kinda like 0-0 what

But then he gets really hyped

Secretly though

On the outside he will try and be all cool about it

But on the inside he’s already thinking about how they’re gonna be an awesome ninja and he can’t wait to train them and teach them everything he can offer

He’ll already be planning shit for their 1st bday probably even up to their 16th bday too

Will also be very very helpful with your pregnancy like he will pick up the slack around the house and will just be super attentive in general

Won’t brag about the pregnancy to anyone other than Team Guy though, he prefers to keep it a little private

Tenten will be hyped that she’s gonna be and aunt and threatens Neji that If it’s a girl it will be named after her

It won’t be named after her but Neji lets her enjoy the moment

Rock Lee and Gai are crying of course, like they’re probably saying “Uncle Lee” and “Uncle Gai” over and over because it sounds so good to them

That baby will have the best aunt and uncles ever and will be surrounded by love

10/10 wants to have another one

Neji probably wants like two or three kids so one down another left to go

Gaara

Gaaras reaction would actually be “oh shit” like he’s just staring like that “Anna Oop-“ meme

I mean he wants a kid like he’s always known he wanted one

But he would be so scared now that it’s actually happening

He doesn’t want to hurt the baby or you so he’s really cautious whenever he’s around

Definitely asks for Temaris help and advice

Kankuro is hyped to be an uncle and he probably harasses Gaara with a baby puppet

Temari is happy too but unlike Kank, she will actually be helpful

Other than his siblings, he prefers not to tell anyone else about the baby, just for the safety of the two of you

Afterall he is Kazekage and having a pregnant s/o can be used as double the leverage now

Eventually though his scared and paranoid feelings fade away a bit and he gets more excited

Thinks about the baby a lot and wonders what it’s gonna be like

Constantly talks to you about the baby and things he’s excited about sharing with the child

Wants to make sure he is actually gonna be there for his kid unlike his own dad and will be protective asf

Itachi

It’s kinda bittersweet when he finds out

He’s always wanted kids and a family but at the same time he knows that he may not be around for a lot longer

He will make the most out of it though and is really happy that he is able to have a shot at a family

Prepares things ahead of time and wants to ensure he will still be able to provide and help out when he isn’t around anymore

Will be like Neji in the sense that he is super attentive to what you need. He will also be a lot more protective of you

Tries not to daydream too much about his kid and what they’re gonna turn out to be like while he’s on a mission with the Akatsuki

If the Akatsuki find out I would say Deidara and Tobi would be hyped and probably annoy the shit out of Itachi by begging him to let them be the god father and they end up fighting each other for sure

Everyone else is pretty chill about it though, which is a relief

Makes an even bigger effort to try and be around you more

Probably the calmest one about the whole situation out of all the others

Sasuke

He’s just a mixing pot of emotions

He’s scared shitless and also kinda sad and also happy at the same time

There’s a lot of pressure on him - or so he feels that way

I mean he’s had a messed up childhood and he obviously wants to shelter his kid from ever feeling the way he did

But he’s also kinda like: wtf I am not ready for this

And then he’s also happy he can raise a kid and pass down his Jutsus and give them all the things he didn’t have

He knows you can take care of yourself which is why he’s never been very clingy, but now that there is a child involved he wants to make sure that he can protect the two of you

Will probably tell Team 7, I mean I don’t think he really wanted too just bc he didn’t want to deal with Narutos reaction

He tells them anyway and of course naruto is like bawling his eyes out and begging to be the god father while also saying “I’m gonna be an uncle! An uncle!” Then Sakura beats him into next Thursday so he can calm down

Kakashi wasn’t expecting it tbh but he’s down and is hyped to be an uncle too

Sakura and Kakashi would be the most helpful people in helping the two of you navigate wtf to do
