FINALLY, it's done!! Remember when i posted a teaser of Chapter 1 A YEAR AGO??? i know i've totally missed @sasodeiweek 2025, and understand if you can't put this in the AO3 collection, but here it is nonetheless:

Thunderstruck (AO3) - a music/rock band/pop-star AU featuring Deidara-the-rocker and Sasori-the-cellist

Summary: First chair cello for the Sunagakure Philharmonic Sasori knows he is struggling to move past his break up with retired conductor Third, while front-man to the pop-metal band C4 Deidara chafes at restrictions set by his label, Masked Man Records. When "chance" brings the two musicians together for a concert in Sunagakure, their lives are irrevocably changed.

Sasori: I ... suppose that, seeing as you're my Akatsuki partner, there's a decent amount of trust that must be a part of our working relationship, in order for us to cohesively -- Deidara: No, no, hm. I don't mean that. I mean, do you trust me as your boyfriend? Sasori: *raises an eyebrow* Boyfriend? Is THAT what you are to me, mm? Deidara, blushing: Well, it's been over a year since we started to have -- you know. And we spend a lot of time together otherwise when we're not on missions, and -- Sasori: Alright, alright; no need to get sappy about it. But why are you asking me if I trust you as that? Deidara: Because I trust you, hm. With everything, even with my life. So It would be nice to know that you feel the same about me. Sasori: *smiles and gently takes Deidara's hands* My dear. I trust you not to break my heart. Deidara: Aww, Danna! Of course I'd never break your heart, hm! I-- Sasori: Primarily because my heart is surrounded in an impenetrable wall of steel. If you were to find some way to get past that and destroy me, well, at that point I guess I'd deserve it. Deidara: Deidara: You just ... you can't ever just be normal, can you?
