Fic Summary:

Eager to begin their life together, Astarion and Imara embark on their journey to the Underdark with thousands of vampires under their care, but their exciting new adventure proves perilous when life below ground turns out to be much more difficult than they'd expected.

They soon discover that earning their freedom was only the first step toward becoming the people they wish to be, and that neither their happiness nor their love are guaranteed.
