What does Aki think of the fact that Stardust Trail looks quite a bit like her? Has Yusei ever pointed out how some of his Stardust cards feature a woman that looks like her or did he never notice? Have their kids noticed?

i have a question that i need answer for: Why do you ship Crow with Sherry. Don't mind me, just curiosity (and maybe a reason to sail that ship too)

The idea came after I saw their duel. I thought “wait, why not?” and I basically ended up accepting that idea passively

(a ship that I used to like was Bruno and Sherry, but we all know that Bruno uhm disappears at some point, so it wasn’t valid anymore...)

but you know what. After all the running, after all the chaos, Crow would be a good man for Sherry. He’s reliable. He’s protective. He’s good

For your next gen AU have you ever imagined Crow babysitting Yusei, Aki, Jack, and Carly's kids while they were little? I'm asking cause I feel like that's something he would do.

He would! More like he’d let their kids stay with his own, he’d keep an eye on everybody. He’s used to dealing with dozen of kids at once so I guess he’d def let the other children stay with him (and his own children) at home when he’s free! They all love it, it’s a very good idea to let the kids make friends and have some fun too

Have any domesticated Faithshipping headcannons?

If you mean headcanons like Aki and Yusei living together as a family and such, I think the answer would fit the 2nd gen AU as a “before we had kids” chapter let’s say!

during the years in which Aki is studying, she would try to take all of her exams as soon as possible to keep the summer free, so she can fly back to Japan and stay with her family and Yusei :’) it’s tiring though. She can’t wait to just go back to Japan as a doctor and work there

I imagine that Aki at some point successfully finds a job in the New Domino city main hospital, which means she can finally go back to her beloved city and (after years of a long-distance relationship) marry the love of her life

they both need to work a lot but they make sure the time they spend together is quality time :’’)

Aki would often mention how she used to travel with her parents as a child but stopped doing that as soon as she was sent away from home. She didn’t have the chance to visit new places in Japan so they made a list of “places to see together”. Those are wonderful trips :’)

Aki has no idea of how Yusei can function with the few hours of sleep he gets. She’s a normal human being who goes to bed at 11 unless she has night shifts at the hospital

Yusei still manages to wake up before her, first thing he does is preparing coffee for both

he leaves her coffee on her nightstand sometimes. It’s often the coffee scent that wakes Aki up (I drew that)

Yusei and Aki both prefer using their D-wheels to go to work, they’re FAST, lol (they get a car around the time Aki’s pregnant tho)

they don’t text each other much (Yusei’s not the type). They call each other a lot though

they both have their personal space in the house. Yusei def needs one (like the garage) and Aki loved the idea of having one too (reading, studying, growing plants near a window)

they tend to alternate each other with the house chores. Aki does slightly more than him, but tbh it depends on who’s got more spare time

we finally get to see a happy Yusei (also a happy Aki), isn’t it great??

Yusei accepts dueling with Aki the 2nd time. Bc he cares about her

the fact that they’re both strong and don’t need each other (I don’t like complete dependence from the partner)

Yusei is a lil nerd sometimes but he def noticed Aki and ep 154 shows that

Imagine: The 2gen-boys dress as Team Satisfaction/Entforcers. With vampire cape or not is by you. But imagine it.

I'm sorry if this was asked before, but how much do the kids know about the dark signer stuff and everything involving Bruno, Arporia, Z-One, etc? What are their thoughts on the past if they do and has does that impact them?

Actually, they know most of the story, especially those parts that became of public dominion. Their parents never enriched these stories of details, they mostly turned everything into a "fairy tale" that could teach moral values to their children. That helped them accept it (even though those events were pretty wild) and be prepared for what other people could tell them at school. The kids consider it like a cool story, they're used to it already.

That also instilled a sense of duty and respect towards their own parents, which defines them underneath all the sass and their other qualities. They don't want to depend on their parents, but it's cool that your bloodline has seen real heroes. They do wonder if they could ever do the same in a hypothetical near future, but their parents encourage them a lot to never get discouraged and do their best on any occasion (they don't want their children to develop any psychological complex!), and they often repeat them that they'll never be left alone (as they know what it feels like to be alone...)

Do any of the kids dab, if so which of the kids are against dabbing.

Dab bc it's funny or just to annoy people: Claire, Kaori, Risa, Rikiya

Don't dab bc it's not in their style, or they find it cringy: Takahiro, Hikaru, Elaina, Kenichi

Those who dab are aware of the sub-culture around it. They always wait for the right moment to dab, which might be a monopoly victory or a reaction to "please don't do it". It all depends on the context and who's to be annoyed.

Any headcanons about what would happen if the dad's got sick or injured?.

I'll try to answer you as if you asked me "how would the kids react if...?" bc the specific scenario might vary. I also crossed out "chronic" situations, I felt more creative thinking about sudden scenes (like a D-Wheel crash, or passing out on the floor for no apparent reason, etc):

- Kaori would panic. She'd have trouble choosing what to do next. Her type of power (empathy) is counterproductive in these situations. She needs help (thankfully her brother is usually around)

- Hikaru would panic too, but he'd stay strong and do something helpful (he's a talented duelist who can think fast and effectively).

- Takahiro wouldn't even process the panic, he'd straight up think of a solution. Where do I bring dad? Should I tell mom? Who can help us? (thanks to Jack being often absent, he forcefully became the responsible man of the house)

- Rikiya would use sarcasm here and there to cover up his panic (it's worse than Kaori's). He wouldn't be the one able to make a plan of action, but he'd follow instructions if somebody else is there. (Please don't laugh at him, he'll do better one day)

- Risa would panic too, then get mad. She's too young to hold any responsibility of whatever follows anyway

-Kenichi would do everything a responsible adult would do. He can deal with the inner fright like a champ (he'd let emotions hit him once the storm is gone)

- Claire, oh Claire would unleash all of her inner emotions. She'd yell and do very ineffective things at first, but 1 out of 10 of all her actions would be actual good decisions. She can save the day, she'd just waste a lot of energy and time in the process

- Elaina would be forced to break her facade. She acts like a child prodigy, but she's still a kid, a kid with very low control of her inner emotions. And yet, she's also the only one who can think of the *best* solution humanly achievable. You still need her on the team

- The respective wives would intervene later and handle the situations like the responsible adults they became. Aki and Sherry would hide their pain from their children. But Ken would sense Sherry's pain, just like Kaori would feel her mother's pain. Kaori and Aki are so similar on this side, they give strength to each other. Only Carly would basically use Taka as a shoulder to cry on (I believe this marriage is slightly dysfunctional lol Jack you're an idiot).

In light of the recent fan art, and seeing that Hikaru go into a love-sick panic and how Kaori’s abilities retain to seeing emotions, I bet that Kaori probably figured about Hikaru and Asuna’s feelings before they did (or would have if she payed enough mind to it). Also, do Yusei and Aki meet Asuna at some point? If so, how did the first meeting go?

Oh they did! They sensed she was... different (she’s got a peculiar role in the story, but I’ll be honest, we haven’t elaborated enough details on this first encounter lol) but overall they like her a lot too <3

What are some video games the kids play? Gacha, platformers, etc... Curious to know the kids taste!

I needed some help to answer this one bc I'm no expert with video games, and I wouldn’t be specific, but I can tell you which genres they prefer (also, some of them play regularly, some others only play once in a while):

Hikaru Fudo: HORROR GAMES, I swear Hikaru doesn’t even FLINCH

Kaori Fudo: Nintendo Switch all the way! Pokémon!! Super Mario!! all the popular games you can think of!

Takahiro Atlas: simulation games, city builders (also Minecraft), he’s very creative and hates being exposed to additional conflict lol

Rikiya Atlas: he plays shooters games, war games, also GTA just because he enjoys being chaotic

Risa Atlas: plays the Nintendo games along with Kaori lol, also lots of JRPG’s

Claire Hogan: fighting and sport games!!! Lemme tell you she’s a boss

Kenichi Hogan: he’s the RPG guy, he loves anything along the “adventure” and “action” lines though (playstation etc) 

Elaina Hogan: mystery, strategy and platformer games. Anything that needs a lot of problem-solving skills. She considers it a “training”

Ok I'm sorry to bring this back up buuuut has the food situation been resolved after so long? Are the wars over pineapple on pizza and ketchup on lasagna over? Or do they still rage on to this day?

The golden rule is "let sleeping dogs lie", like, you can feel the tension rise whenever someone says "pineapple". But the kids are too chaotic for that. Taboo topics can be weaponized when you're losing an argument. And believe me, the kids never lack arguments.

For some reason I couldn’t find this post in the kids’ blog so I brought it back now lol

Some of you already sent some asks about this, but yes, our kids have psychic powers, and all of them can bring duel monsters to life! But the Fudo kids’ powers differ a lot from their mother’s! 

Asuna can see duel monsters and use telepathy, while Hikaru can manipulate dreams, but also twist someone’s mind to a very dangerous extent (no worries Hikaru is always stopped before dealing irreversible damage lol), and Kaori can feel what you’re feeling after she enstabilishes a connection with you (by touching you)! Additionally, she could see through your eyes while this bond is intact, and feel danger if you’re the one in danger! Cool, huh??

Green here I have an ask for you on a scale from 1- kaori no! How did the kids learning to turbo duel go

LMAO KAORI NO-

I mean, they were immersed in a turbo duel environment since the day they were born, they learned how to drive a D-Wheel pretty soon compared to the other peers, and it was hilarious

It went from riding a bicycle (with all the due failed attempts) to skateboarding / rollerblading, to their parents' D-Wheel when they were old enough (14-15 yo). Hikaru still loves skateboarding though, he does have a personal flying skateboard he uses more than his own D-wheel!

Speed wasn't a problem (Kaori loved it way too much), both of them used to go with their parents on their D-wheels every so often, so they were already used to those feelings. Yusei taught them the basics of the components and also how to drive. Aki was more concerned with their safety, but she helped with their education in that as well.

Once they learned how to drive, the last step was dueling while driving. They started dueling and driving slow (as they would get distracted and sometimes fall), but once they got used to it, Kaori was already participating in tournaments LOL
