not kidding but this is one of my most favorite pieces of fanart ever. I love the angels are still human-shaped despite being otherworldly. Their visage is still large and otherworldly, but been contained (somewhat) to appear like a human. Almost like how water has no precise size but can form into whatever size they need to.

Thoughts on 9-1-1 after taking a few days to process

(To clarify: I hope to god I’m wrong about this. I hope I wind up with egg on my face. I don’t want to be proven right.)

I think Tim Minear really did kill Bobby Nash off. I don’t think anything I’ve seen has convinced me this is a fake out. Not the bizarre April Fools leaks or the walked back statements on Instagram from some of the cast. Nothing has sold me on this being an extremely elaborate fake-out.

Especially because this seems too complex to be a fake-out with Peter’s exit letter, the interview on GMA-- along with Kenny’s own interview about it, his comments we’ve seen on Tik Tok, and other things that are slipping my mind right now. It just seems like too much effort for this show to do as a fake-out.

People keep saying the cast was too happy during the livestream of filming the funeral but guys, we’re all human. It’s not unheard of for people to be angry and cracking jokes about the thing they’re angry at. I’ve been pissed and laughed my ass off even when the world felt like it was crumbling around me. The other thing about this really just comes down to the quality of writing and lack thereof. Tim Minear is not good at his job. Let's look at how Eddie's been forced into this terrible place in the story because of Tim's inability to understand when to say no to himself. He wanted to Vertigo and completely shifted focus to execute a storyline he knew he would not be able to do, given the limited amount of episodes season 7 had left. Yet he still did it. And now Eddie's been stuck in a terrible, half-baked plot that's been given barely any progress for A FULL YEAR. They are still trying to un-do the damage from Tim not having any discipline when writing a story. And frankly, I think the same thing has happened with Bobby's character. Because Tim sees a new story or new direction he wants to go, doesn't think about the consequences for the story/characters moving forward, and just does it without actually thinking about it. And fuck anybody who tries to tell him it's a bad idea. This has completely killed my interest in the show. I will not watch any new episodes going forward unless my friends tell me it's worth it or I catch wind that it got good again, but I don't think that'll happen. And with the Buddie of it all? I don't think they're doing it anymore. To be completely honest I think Trump winning the election had them pull the plug. Because typically in tv, they either are brave and swing the opposite direction of the world is or don't because they don't wanna piss off the fanbase that is conservative. And with that bullshit moment Buck and Tomato had in the helicopter, I don't think they're ever going to make Eddie queer too or give the fans what they want. I think they're gonna drag it out and never deliver.
