“And I’m very grateful you haven’t tried to convince me otherwise. My parents are really hoping I’ll change my mind, but I don’t even have the slightest amount of interest. Don't get me wrong, I understand the appeal, but regardless of how happy they make you, your social life ends, along with your sanity, and there's nothing attractive about that."

“You just gotta be careful in that business. And, I hate to say it, but a bit distrustful.”

“Ah, kids are definitely not for everyone, that’s for sure. They’re sticky, expensive, and exhausting.”

“Tisch is great, but I may be biased. You’re in the right place to be doing acting, though.”

“We should definitely celebrate. My evening has been rather uneventful, anyway.”

“Here’s hoping. This week a meeting with an agent, next month, I’m a star.”

“I want to make sure that I never do. I’m hoping it goes great. I could really use this.”

“I’m proud to say I’ve never had that opportunity.”

“I’m glad I can help! You’ll have to let me know how it goes.”

“I don’t even think the people that work there want to be part of them to be perfectly honest, that’s the worst part. No, I’m going to be really, really careful. I’m fully aware so all I can do is hope for the best. Thanks for the advice though, I really appreciate it.”

“And it’s a logical fear to have. I hear too many horror stories like that. Plus, local commercials are the worst, and is anyone ever proud to be a part of them, or is that just a myth?”

“As long as you’re aware, I don’t think it’ll be a problem.”

“Thank you! That’s my fear actually. That I’ll get incredibly excited and just sign away my life and I’ll end up doing mattress store commercials for the rest of my days. It’s a recurring nightmare.”

“You’re right, that is exciting! I hope it goes well for you. I think the only form of advice I could offer you is to refrain from signing anything without reading it first.”

“Well, I’m at a bookstore too. And I really love that, so I try to be available. You don’t have to do that for me. I actually have a friend who’s gotten me a meeting with an agent. That’s exciting.”

"You don’t work as an actress full-time?”

“If you’re having trouble finding roles, I can always put in a good word for you.”

“Today was so dull. I would have much rather been at work. And that’s saying a lot.”

"Yeah, it's a total hit-or-miss with them, usually. I think Uber should be a bit more strict with that."

“That’s really optimistic of you because every time my Uber driver is even slightly creepy, I always consider the worst possible scenario. Always.”

“Yeah some of them can actually be pretty nice it just depends if you get lucky or not. Uber is my lifesaver so even if I get a creepy one at least I’m getting home.”

“I definitely did not study business, but I went to Tisch and did drama.”

“My parents are incredibly proud of me, actually.”

“Hell no, it doesn’t.”

“I do, yes. We may have been in different schools, though, unless you studied business. I’m at Stern.”

“You’re right, it can. But it obviously doesn’t get far with you.”

“Do you teach at NYU? I graduated a couple years ago, but I don’t recognize you.”

“Actually, as much as people hate it, bullshit can get you pretty far in this city.”

“Okay, so I stand corrected; not all Uber drivers want to skin you alive. I’m surprised.”

“That’s a great story, though.”

“I have honestly had the weirdest Uber drivers ever but some of them are pretty alright. I once had once tell me that she was taken my the FBI at twelve because they thought she was too smart for her own good. I have some really good stories under my belt.”

“Thanks, I’m pretty happy I am alive as well. He was actually a pretty decent guy from what I remember.”
