btw i think that the reason josh is wearing the red eyeshadow is that he is just a projection that nico / blurryface has summoned to trick tyler. that’s not the torchbearer, tyler can’t see the torchbearer anymore. that’s why he doesn’t accept the jacket: he knows that this is nico trying to manipulate him to make him accept his deal.

Headcanon: there's actually a bunch of cheetahs in Trench, trailing behind the Bandito camps for fun and easy food, and Clancy is like kinda connected to them. For no real reason, he just is. Like, he can sleep in a cuddle pile of them and they're not even bothered. He's like a weird, overgrown cub to them.

Torchbearer pets him once as a joke and he actually purrs. Eventually, it turns into a habit. A way to de-stress after a successful escape.

Adding onto this, new idea: Junior getting teased by some kids at school for not having a girlfriend, and so he blurts out "I have a girlfriend!", just because he doesn't want to be the weirdo who doesn't have a girlfriend yet (despite the fact that he's like 10? Maybe this would be after a time skip?), but when they ask him what her name is all he can blurt out is "uh, Elle!"

Better idea: L is there and hears it.

AU: L stays in the attic and he and Junior (Gary???) are besties that's it that's the AU

I wanted so much more of them becoming friends

I imagine it's been a while since L had a friend (probably not since Melson Nelson/whatever-his-name-was-by-the-end caused him to die during that thunderstorm), and Junior's gotta be lonely after he just moved cities (by the way, anyone else got reminded of Inside Out at that first scene or is it just me?), so them being friends would be good for both of them, they'd both have a friend now!

What if, with L being less lonely, he gets the hang of his ghost powers and stuff and can leave the attic by himself at some point? What if Junior shows him all the stuff that's changed in the neighborhood (and in general) since he died in the (insert whenever he died cause I can't remember)? What if they prank people together? What if they just hang out? What if L tells (writes? Or tells using sign language?) Junior all about his life, and they try to track down what happened to his family (if he had any?) after he died? What if L has trauma around storms and Junior comforts him? What if L comes to school with Junior and causes mischief? What if someone at Junior's school finds out and they think he has schizophrenia or something and they tell his dad?

*cough* What if they fall in love after some time *cough* I mean, what? Who said that? 👀

I have so many more thoughts, but I can't put them into words

I want to read a fanfic about this but my writer's block is too strong to write it myself, so I'm releasing these ideas into the wild with hopes of someone else getting inspired /hj

I''m sorry but Sam's ghost character will forever be L to me. My brain just won't accept his name is Jim. It's not. It's L. I like to imagine that L gets really mad at Luke's character who I've forgotten his name for just calling him Jim when his name is clearly L.
