trying to revise soviet foreign policy 1929-41 this is how i choose to summarise france

ussr to the west - wait pls be my friend we all hate hitler right?

france 1932 - ok here’s a non aggression pact we both don’t like hitler

france 1935 - yeah we’ll sign the franco-russian pact cos we sooooooo don’t like hitler we promise

also france less than a year later - *appeasement policy towards hitler + allows the treaty of versailles to be broken when hitler remiliterises the rhineland*

ussr - I THOUGHT U WERE MY FRIEND WTF I DONT NEED U SOCIAL FASCISTS ANYMORE *makes it even worse by getting HEAVILY involved in the spanish civil war 1936*
