Perfection Unto Death

I’m really excited to reveal my piece for the Sonic Big Bang 2025!! @sthbigbang It was such a blast to work with the community and create something. Here’s the AO3 link to check out my fic:

I got to work with three amazing artists who totally captured the vibe of the fic I work. I was blown away by their WIPs, and their finished pieces were just astounding. Please be sure to go give them some love for their amazing art!!

@ly2chee: I love the way they conveyed Shadow’s trauma so artfully. And Amy’s just adorable!!

@ithiliam: I just ADORE how they represented Shadow’s struggles he undergoes. Gorgeous!!

@sccredhead: This was one of my favorite scenes to write so I loved seeing it come to life! Silver and Shadow just look so at peace.

"Following the destruction of the Eclipse Cannon, Sonic discovers a battered and bruised Shadow hiding in the woods near Green Hill. Slowly, they begin to rebuild the budding friendship that they both believed had been lost in the embers." (Tysm again Neo for the quick summary for this post!!)

A Soft Place to Land, written by @neometalsilver, was the fic I was lucky to be paired with for this year's @sthbigbang!!! I'm soooo honored to be able to have been back for another year, and it was super cool to have been able to step out of my comfort zone for this fic and make a full-on comic!

I'd totally recommend y'all go and read it by the way, especially if you'd want context for this comic!!! (You'll see it in chapter 3!!) Go read it!! Now!!!!
