ok, this is gonna probably be a long explanation, i dunno, but ORIGINALLY, i was gonna go "hey yeah, i totally agree, i think it'll be a natural and not creepy thing to move on from dipper and i'll probably revamp elliot and make a new oc, similar to elliot but not the same you know, not a self insert so i can finish my idea for the fic" BUT... circumstances have altered slightly. basically, to make a really fucking long story short, turns out i have osdd1, meaning im a system, and dipper is one of my alters(who i feel i should mention will be the same age as me in a few days), and has been for a while, even before i realized i was a system. BUT turns out, he's been dormant the last three months due to me hyperfixating on homestuck so avidly, which is actually the entire reason i even found out i was a system. however, i didn't find this out until YESTERDAY when he literally was looming over me on the community couch and scared the FUCK outta me. i didn't realize he was there until i focused on the headspace a bit more it was literally so fucking funny if im being entirely honest but now that i know that he's a fictive it kind of, changes things a bit? especially now that he's out of dormancy and we're back to cuddling and kissing and holding hands and stuff. it like, alters it from being "wow i wish you were real </3 #brocken" to "i wish we were two separate people so we could hold hands and do dumb teen stuff together and actually feel it", y'know? so like, it's less of a selfship i guess and more of a "two gay teens insert themselves into one participant's source" sorta thing. it's kinda great actually! now i know im actually cuddling with dipper in headspace instead of thinking they're just fantasies fueled by loneliness. but, to finish this off, if you fakeclaim us, invalidate us or are anti-system in any way, you WILL be blocked <3 and expect more content on this account soon :3
