SzPD culture is wearing headphones when you're outside home just because:
1- It prevents people from talking to you.
2- You don't hear people talk.
And not because you actually want to listen to music.

SzPD culture is being confused about spontaneous phone calls. Calling for the sole purpose of... talking? Without concrete intentions? No, but when will you stop talking? Can I leave?

Schizoid culture is failing to personalise the ‘why’ of other people’s behaviours and extraversion in social settings. It seems incredibly useless to me in practicality, and I am not sure if this will ever be of any use to me in future.

SzPD culture is having a stressful situation happen but immediately getting over it once it's resolved (or not even resolved you just figure out what you're going to do about it) to the point where it's actually funny to you, telling someone about it cause it's humorous, and they get all horrified and pull the whole 'oh I'm so sorry! That's awful!' shtick
And it's like
This was supposed to be funny? And it didn't even happen to you? Why are you upset, this was supposed to be entertaining

szpd culture is. weirdly that song. Bizzare love triangle by New Order. But only in that way that the singer seems aloof and very unsure about the situation at hand. "I'm feeling like i never should" and wanting to push the other person away because ew no :(
(sorry if this makes no sense)

Schizoid culture is not talking about your issues because you find no need. There doesn't feel like a point to talking? What does it do?
I don't mind talking about them. It's interesting to speak of experiences but it's just. I don't care? I don't have that need to vent? Why do others do? Why must I be so emotionally disconnected from other humans?

Schizoid culture is being told "I missed you" constantly and not knowing how to answer. You just lie and say "I missed you too!" When you couldn't give a shit. I'm sorry but I don't miss people. I didn't miss you. I don't mind talking with you, it's entertaining. I still have empathy I just, don't miss people I'm sorry. I wish I could connect like others do but I don't.

is it possible to have szpd and not have a "second self"? it just never occurred to me that i can lie to people. i only have the one, people-hating self. i've always forced others to put up with that.
yep thats possible!

everything seems so difficult lately, i'm so indifferent to others while I feel very much in pain and for nothing or everything i don't even know. I'm not sure if it is szpd culture thing, it just felt safe to write here. i don't even know if what I say makes sense
hi anon. life can be a lot, millions will say the same thing, and I don't want to seem condescending and say "it'll get better!" because I can't tell you the future. what I can tell you, is that the only way for it to get better, is to do something about it. it can be tiring and annoying. it won't seem like its worth it. assess your life, drop the things that make it shitty, and pick up new and better things.
and honestly? if you are able to afford therapy, do that. they can help you, szpd or not.

Not culture sorry, but I'm still confused about the concepts of "innerself" and "outerself" in szpd, is there somewhere I can read about it and examples of it? You can use your own words too.
hi! im glad you asked!
Innerself and outerself refer to the i guess "facets" of a schizoid, with the outerself being a facade and used to protect the innerself of a schizoid, which is who we really are.
Over time, some schizoids can see these merge or no longer have a reason to protect their innerself, so their outerself disintegrates.
As of right now, I can't find any further research into these terms/don't have access

Schizoid culture is not hating humans, but finding them so alien and foreign that you know you could never assimilate or blend in with them. But that's okay, because they're so fascinating to study- from afar. Just don't try to involve me in your strange activities, I'm happy to simply watch

ocd + questioning szpd culture is 'what if i dont actually have szpd and its just some other secret thing' and then having nearly everything listed on the DSM 5 for SZPD
reasonably, i think being able to qualify for a szpd diagnosis and then some + relating to every szpd-related post i see should be a reason to believe I have it, my ocd thinks not though 🤷🏽

Questioning SZPD culture is constantly avoiding venting to people even when I can't take it anymore, because... why would someone be there for me when I know I won't be there for them when they most need me? I don't like unfair games.
