It's late at night and Neil feels something tapping on his shoulder.

Todd: Hey, can I please sleep here? I had nightmares again.

Neil: Sure, come on in.

Whenever Todd had nightmares, he would go with Neil and he would make sure Todd fell asleep while hugging him tight, so that he could feel safe.

This was something that happened more often than one would think, but sometimes Todd was just looking for an excuse to hug Neil during the night.

Charlie wrote melodies in the saxophone, but never showed them to the boys. Some of them were for Knox and at night he played them. He didn't know, but Knox listened to him.

Knox thought they were for a girl or something and he wrote poems for Chris, even though they weren't really based om her, but in Charlie.

A couple days before summer vacations started, Todd told Neil that he has to go visit his family, so he's staying with them the whole summer. On the other hand, Neil has to stay for summer school (again).

The day before Todd packs, Neil steals a box where Anderson hides his poetry and keeps it under his bed, so he can read them whenever he wants to. He always reads one of his favourites before going to bed. That way, he makes sure his last memory is something happy.

He thinks that it's more likely to dream of Todd if he reads the poems.
