During Olympics, Google had these adorable animations on their search page! I didn't realize they changed after few days so I might have miss 1 or 2 of them but here's the one ones I actually managed (and realized) to save :D

It’s a messed up feeling: being salty for Team USA and being really happy for Team Japan. Team Japan was the best rugby team all Paralympics and it showed for in the final.

I may be a day late, but I’m so thrilled for Matt Stutzman in Paris!

I started following the Paralympics more seriously during London2012 and was excited to see what this archer from Iowa could do.

Silver and then a couple 9th places finishes later, he gets his gold at his “last” (😉) Paralympics. And getting the Paralympic Record in the Gold Medal Game against the top seeded… *chef’s kiss*

If an athlete

is competing in the Paramylpics

and they “don’t look like they should compete here” (coded for “they don’t LOOK disabled),

instead of saying that out loud or posting to social medias

maybe keep your ignorant comments to yourself and trust the hundreds of officials who know what they are doing with qualification standards.

Also, stop being jealous that you can’t get off your butt while these athletes are killing it out there. Let them have their moment and keep stuffing your face with Doritos.

One thing I loved about Paris 2024: so many final Gold medal matches for disciplines were for the Women’s events, when in the past it’s been male dominant.

I think that’s fucking rad. I hope that continues with the Paralympics, which I think they may.
