But to her, in the tongue she speaks, she is simply a “Lost Daughter”

When I saw a lot of commonalities between the three, I really liked the idea of seeing them together in a render!

Minthara and Syvne are daughters of the highest ranked Houses in their cities.

Syvne and Araj’s Houses are considered defunct in their unfortunate destruction.

Araj and Minthara seek to revive/take over their Houses in an effort to become leaders and make change in their own way.

Lolth really lost out on these three gems. 🫣

To Bear With Love Under A Full Moon

“Oak Father, preserve me. I’ve fallen for an old friend, so loving and dear to my heart. We share an ursine pact under the moon, with many decades passionately spent upon your natural gaze. Her cooling touch is calloused yet gentle, her silver eyes reflect a lifetime of maternal kindness.

“I’ve held back my desire for duty. We parted ways before I suffered in darkness and shadow, but the journey in our reunion brought more than her beauty. I kneel before her, and she holds my scarred face and whispers to me:

‘Let me be your light again. Just like the old times, hm?’

“Oak Father, I love her. I’m grateful for time to extend our lives another century more, but I may blink and lose her again… So allow me to make every second count, for I am hers.”

Another day, another render, another Tav debut! I’ll eventually do proper introductions with my Tavs, but until then, meet my lovely dwarf Tav Gekkea!

She’s an arctic dwarf and a multiclassed Druid (Circle of the Moon)/Barbarian (Bear Wildheart)! She also originated from the game mechanic where only CoM Druids can wildshape into a Polar Bear— so you can see how that concept turned out!

I’ve only designed Gekkea in the game, but never played her fully. So I hope to do a run with her in the future! The romance between is beary adorable in my heart! 🐻💕🐻‍❄️

“Stella Pictor”

A weekend filled with fun and laughter, music and dancing galore. It’s a time one wishes it never ends, just for a moment of time to simply stop in the enjoyment of pleasantry.

Gale, having done nothing but keep his eyes on Aimilios, the love of his life, had one more surprise up his sleeve.

He remembers the kiss in the illusory realms, the galactical sky of blues and purples, swirling between each other’s magic. Whether they kept themselves afloat on a boat or even in spirit, it was as if she was the wishing star that made his wishes come true.

He embraces her at a rooftop, as his hand moves to the stars and recreates that same beautiful moment.

“With the sky as my canvas, I will never tire in painting your beauty.”

For the RenFaire event, I had no idea which one of the two renders to post. So I ultimately decided “why not both?”

I’ve been on a bit of a slump for the past couple of days, and I can’t help but be inspired again when I remind myself, “Never forget the joy of bringing your imagination to life.” ❤️

Twilight Kisses At Sunset

Gale Dekarios. Professor of Blackstaff Academy, Chosen Scholar of Mystra, practically a Prince of Waterdeep.

Rumor has it, he’s brought a lover from the Gate, just south of the Coast. A maiden with skin of light dusk, donning silks of beautiful blues, bejeweled with in shining silvers, just like her braided hair. With such dainty elegance, no wonder many take her for a princess.

They say her name is Aimilios Vencoratere, and she is more than a well-dressed maiden. She carries battle scars honorably, her hands are calloused from holding a sword, even her light gaze can pierce through leather with a tough love.

Is that what Gale Dekarios is attracted to? Many find his love quite to be devotional, and the way he holds her so tenderly, one hand caressing and the other unyielding.

At the golden hour, love is when art paints itself.

Hello once again audience!

A lil’ RenFaire event is going on in Blue Sky, so I’ve got a lil’ double feature on hand for the weekend!

So we start off with a recreation, inspired from the Irish painting “The Meeting on the Turret Stairs”. Although the story behind the art is more tragic than romantic, I focused more on the way the knight holds his lover, something I imagine Gale would definitely do!

The Festhall Lynxes of the Caress

A couple decades before the Illithid invasion, the Orlith Twins (Nym and Sorn) were once accompanied by an additional ‘sister’.

Syvne, the Ghostly Widow. Her albino complexion brings a charm to Sharess’s Caress, dancing on stage with her mentor partner (Queen Rhol) while providing her risqué services just like her ‘brother’ and ‘sister’.

She tells her patrons that she thrived in the mountains of Anauroch as a snow elf, but her ruby red eyes glisten behind the lie that masks her true past, all with a simple word: Szarkai.

The Underdark holds many secrets and stories, and hers is of peculiar interest. It’s no wonder the Orlith Twins were willing to take her as their ‘sister’, as Syvne can roleplay an impressive “Princess from House Nightstar” 😉

The Drow work in numbers, so you can’t go wrong with triple the service! 😘

His green eyes glimmered with excitement, his starry face freshly painted to cover the bloody stains.

He took a deep breath, and cleared his throat to imitate what was observed. Grinning.

“Good mourning, Baldur’s Gate. My new tricks will be something to ABSOLUTELY die for.”

A Breath of Fresh Air

You think I wouldn’t be back on my VP Roots with the Final Patch? I’m just getting started. 😈

Wait a minute… I’m checking the calendar. It has been a full year since I first started doing Virtual Photography?!

Although I just made my Tumblr and Blue Sky not too long ago, I first began my VP journey on April 17th when I first downloaded the Otis Cam! My first composition was for my Szarkai Monk Dancer, Syvne!!

I created the idea of Harper Geraldus and Rugan as a ship back on March 30th (which I could consider their one-year anniversary too!). But ten days after obtaining Otis, I decided to test the waters with them.

Little did I know, my creative journey would take me to where I am now! I built my blocks with ReShade, and even brought Blender renders into the set!

Even when I’m not a very active poster, my works have definitely brought me to wonderful friends and communities, it’s quite fulfilling to me!

I may not have the most extraordinary compositions, but I will am joyful with a game that gives you the tools to share your creativity in many ways!

Will I make it two years? Who knows. Right now I’m just happy to bring what I love to the table, and I hope for the same for all of you too! 🥄

Broken Minded in Self-Reflection

How long has it been since he joined the Circus? Days of clowning around, weeks of same laughter reels, months of raking in the coin. All the usual suspects.

Then there were the years when a pair of green eyes watched with a twisted pleasure. Somewhere in the crowds, with every performance under the sun and stars.

Green quickly became his least favorite color.

It made him want to stagger in his stripes, hurl the bile from his throat through the purple grin of his makeup. It was an anxious feeling so familiar yet terrifyingly new, he couldn’t find the words to express this need for help.

Because the gaze follows him everywhere.

Watching. Listening.

“You have to believe me, Lucretious!” He begged the Ringmaster, “How can I afford to continue my performance with a stalker in the crowd?”

Lucretious chuckled as she tilted her face with a coffin-shaped mirror. “My dear Greenie, there’s a reason why nobody messes with us as a troupe. I give it to my stalkers when they tell me I’m ‘drop-dead’ gorgeous, but they’ll count their last days if they dare lay a finger on you.”

How reassuring. Even he could hear the insincerity in her judgement for his safety.

There were sleepless nights where all he dreamt of were those glowing eyes. He’d see them onstage, backstage, across the tents and through the cages. Is he seeing through his dreams or reality?

He tried to smile through the stress of it all, but even he couldn’t look himself in the eye, across every mirror in the water and glass.

Drip. Drop. Dribble with glee.

A fan, a stalker, excited to see.

To laugh. To cry. Anything goes.

Someone’s out to get him, and only he knows.

A Petal-Perfect Memory

There was a time, long before the mess of it all, where he was a mortal man. A quiet clever lad with a shy smile and an ounce of self-consciousness. He never thought that a circus would be the one to change his life forever.

He dribbled around the idea of joining this particular company, because it meant leaving everything behind; his town, the people, his closest friends and family. It made his chest tighten with anxiety. Who would want to hire a man that only made his 15 minutes of fame? That’s absurd in the job markets.

Yet, this wasn’t some ordinary circus, according to its flamboyant Ring Master. Why squander the chance to entertain people beyond Faêrun, hells, beyond the Realms? Anybody would kill to be in his position.

The last fond memory he cherished from home, a child gifted him a small bundle of dead flowers. Despite the state of its brittle roots and chipping petals, they tearfully explained their failure to grow a good-luck charm; a reminder of everyone’s support.

He smiled, and found solace over something so delicate. He gently accepted it as he decorated his vest.

“You’ve given me a wonderful gift,” he told the child, “I’ll take good care of it because it will remind me to ‘leaf’ my worries behind. I know now that my journey will blossom.”

The child giggled as they wiped their face. “I’m… ‘rooting’ for you, Mister Norris!”

“Thank you, I’m so fern-tunate to have all of you.” He winked before joining in laughter.

After the first couple of rounds on EEVEE, I decided to best my PC’s capacity by bumping a level on Cycles! The rendering process is slower, but gives some nice detailing and wonderful results (especially with lighting)!
