Now that summer is here (allegedly) in Bergen we will be having a busy season ahead.  The cruise ships are arriving thick and fast and we have several private tours lined up as well.  These mostly happen in the evening to avoid clashes with the cruise ship arrivals where most tours will take place in the mornings.

Bergen is looking good these days, all the trees and plants are in full colour, the city is as beautiful as ever and we’ve even had some relatively decent weather of late so long may that continue as we look forward to a fun and productive summer ahead…

Busy Summer Ahead Now that summer is here (allegedly) in Bergen we will be having a busy season ahead.  The cruise ships are arriving thick and fast and we have several private tours lined up as well.

Over the course of the last two or three weeks, spring has well and truly sprung here in Bergen.  Far earlier by a good three weeks than last year’s arrival so it was nice to see the old place coming to life while we were still in April.

The following are a few shots taken around central Bergen on the last day of April while we were still enjoying some sunshine and the first burst of colour around the city…

The last month or so has seen some unseasonably good weather here in Bergen and spring has more or less sprung, albeit three or four weeks earlier than usual.

We have already seen a handful of cruise ships call into port and those who have been here have certainly been enjoying the good weather.
