Vox said as he lit his smoke and turns to her while texting a message. "Quickest is to get over there, or you want him to come here? On second thought... I'm calling him here." Vox said as her state was, less desirable to have out in public, at least for the time being.

"What do you mean, someone you know?" Velvette is quick to ask, though she does begin to soften slightly, even if still sour at Vox's reaction to everything. Her arms crossed, and she glanced away from him idly, waiting for him before she continued.

An awkward second passes before she lets out a long breath and has to give him a look back. "I didn't even think all of that stuff down there worked, you know," she brings up, still shifting a bit, "Don't really get a cycle and all that junk."

The more she thought about it, the more tense she became. Finally, she tightened her arms. "Let's just-- just get your guy or whatever. I want these tests done." Even still with Vox's attitude to the situation, she sidesteps closer to him. That need still persisted, not wanting to go through this alone. She blamed the hormones.

What a wonderful surprise, Vox has seen her around but not in person yet, having seen the feed with her being paraded around by Valentino.

"My, my.. If it isn't the precious princess of Hell herself." To be honest, he knew Valentino wasn't here and she was. A little rare opportunity to have a little chat with the V's new property, well, Val's. But sharing is caring amongst the Vs.

Vox came over closer to Charlie, hand to her chin and making her properly look up to him, even if she already was. It wasn't everyday one could have such a treat, such as this one. "I'd say this is much for suiting for someone like you."

She had been dreading this...

"O-oh, Vox! Um, Valentino isn't here..." Hence, why Charlie had gone to great lengths to actively avoid Vox for as long as she possibly could, but even she knew this meeting was inevitable.

Vox let Ellie play around on her own next to him while Clem was taking care of it. Stubborn against stubbornness, one Vox was likely winning and he did. Soon they'd get her old man over and make it easier on them.

"Good, now take your medicine and cozy up. You hear?" He says picking up Ellie in his arm and walking over to get a glass for Clem, filling it with water and coming back over placing it by the coffee table. Sitting down next to her, arm up on the backrest and cradling Ellie against his chest with the other.

Satisfied her mother would be fine, Ellie was now distracted by her own tail. Every flick of it, she'd try and grab it, no longer paying attention to her parents.

Clem sank against the couch, taking a deep breath before the managed a smile.

"I can do it." She said, reaching for her phone. Her conversation with the hellhound was brief, simply saying she wasn't well and Vox was taking care of her, but they could do with another pair of eyes for Ellie.

That was all he needed to know. "He said he'll be here in ten."

Vox got up, getting some doctor to help out with, this mess. "Getting someone I know. Don't feel like waiting forever for this if I'm coming with you."

This was also a big crossroad for him, ultimately would decide how his relation with Velvette would turn out. Fucking around? Sure, they all do. But pregnancy, and possibly with some dick from Heaven? Their whole image could be ruined with this. She better hope she doesn't turn out to be some liability after this.

Pausing as she hears Vox agree, she is quiet for just a moment. She was well aware of how she had been around Adam, and the fact that she was a Sinner made it impossible that she could even be pregnant. To have it suddenly, she could understand why he was pointing at that possibility.

It made her tense just a bit more. Part of her... hoped it was Vox's, even as he brushes off her wanting to include him. There was too much possibility on the table. She was not exactly one for protection since it was never needed, nor was she one not to sleep around. The thought of sleeping around now made her feel uneasy.

"I bloody know, okay? Maybe if we even figure out who caused it, then we can find out how. It's fucking up entirely with my body cause I don't even know if it's supposed to handle producing shit," she hisses, and even as she felt hurt earlier at his dismissal, she waited on him so they could go do the tests. If he still would go with her, at least.
