[Announcement - New Blog]

Been taking a trip down memory lane and this blog (scripturiant) just turned 10 years old a couple of days ago! I can't help but think about all the good times I had on here and all the great people I have met :) So just for fun, I made a new blog h1rreath which will be mostly dark vintage - sort of an alter ego from scripturiant. Feel free to follow!

I passed my board exam!

Just checking in to say that I passed my board exam :) I was meant take the CPA licensure exam last May 2020 but due to the pandemic, it kept getting postponed. It was postponed 3 times, and rescheduled once. I was able to take the exam this month and the results came in over a week later. Out of 1,454 takers, only 318 passed (21.87%).  While I have so much to say about what I’ve been through and what I’m feeling, I’m grateful to finally close this chapter of my life. On to better things and greater heights! - Kiara Xx

Over 2 years later.

(Leave a like if you see this. Curious to see if I have any active followers left lol) Some days, I wonder how’s Tumblr doing. So I decided to open my account over 2 years later.

My main curiosity is how much has changed since I’ve been gone, particularly in the vintage community. Is the community still alive? Are BOTMs still a thing? Do people still do networks? 

Most of the blogs I follow seem quite active, but I don’t know if that’s actually them or just a queue running *flashbacks to when I would queue hundreds of posts to keep my blog alive*. I wonder out of my x,xxx followers, how many of them are actually active to this day. 

I don’t remember how much followers I had before leaving, so I don’t know if I’ve significantly lost or gained followers. I’m surprised to see that there’s any sort of activity with my blog after so long. If you randomly see this and enjoy my blog, I just wanna say thank you and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did <3 As an update from my last post, I graduated with honors last October 2019 with a degree in Accountancy. I was supposed to take my licensure exam this May but it got postponed due to the pandemic. So right now, I’m kinda confused with my plans for life because everything is so uncertain. I could take the exam this October, but will things have settled down by then? Or should I just wait for the exam on May 2021? What will I do with so much downtime? Only time will tell, I guess.

So is this my return to Tumblr? Probably not. But hey, never say never ;). Sometimes, I don’t know what I should do with this account. Should I keep it and leave it as is? Should I sell it? Should I give it away for free? Message me your thoughts, I'd love to know what you think. Anyways, I know that it’s a crazy time for all of us right now and I just wanna say stay safe <3 - Kiara Xx

Happy New Year

I don’t think anyone noticed that I left but I took a break from Tumblr because I had to focus on school. The -ber months drained the life out of me and I’m glad my majors are over (for now).

Back then, I told myself that I would finally be giving up Tumblr after years 6 years. They were pretty amazing years. Tumblr was always there for me during my highs and lows, but ever since college and majors, it was just too time-consuming. For a while, it felt like a job more than a hobby to keep my Tumblr alive. It was more of a liability than a leisure. Another reason why I took a break was to see if I could live life without Tumblr. Unfortunately, I did -- but boy, there were times when I missed it so much that I would just scroll through my archive.

Tumblr will always be a huge part of my life, especially my high school years. I may sound overdramatic, but I can’t help be emotionally attatched to this platform. 

I hate to say this, but I think I just grew out of Tumblr and I just don’t know if it’s time to finally give it up.
