Hey so I forgot to mention this when it happened but uh. We lost our job. One of our former coworkers is 100% convinced it was bc of our disability bc the reasons they gave were extremely bullshit and wouldn't have gotten anyone else in trouble, but it is what it is. We're looking for a new job rn, but we haven't exactly had the best of luck. Especially considering we're now wheelchair bound about 90% of the time.

Hi everyone! I hate to make this post, I really do. But unfortunately I don't have much choice.

I've posted about it a bit but I just moved in December! It's only been a few months, but I've been doing well! I have a job that allows me to pay my rent and such and keep up with all the things I need to keep up with and even some room for fun stuff like cons!

However, my health is starting to take a nosedive. As it says in my pinned post, I have some joint issues that I previously didn't have a name for, but I know now that it's Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, or hEDS. My job has been very accessible with me using my cane at work since I got here, but unfortunately my condition has been steadily declining and I'll need a wheelchair soon. And as much as I hate to say it, I won't be able to continue doing the job I currently have in a wheelchair.

I'm already on the hunt for remote positions and I have some ways to get money in the meantime, but it won't be enough to continue covering my rent, utilities, taking care of my two cats, and the money I need in order to actually get a wheelchair before my legs stop working. I hate having to do this, but I need help. Even if you can't donate, I ask you to please please reblog so that this at least reaches more people.
