where do u get ur references from? (poses etc etc)

I get my refs from various diff accounts on twitter, some of my favs are:

@deepxgrave has some good softcore refs

@butchusband posts vintage lesbians and some good stuff comes up

and there are others I'm blankin on

I follow buff women for buff refs (and reasons), rope bunnies for rope refs, and generslly save whatever I think looks nice

for poses I use 3d dolls sometimes, like if something isn't translating from my head to paper very well. i use refs for poses more for studies, then I riff whatever I draw for fun

fougths on bob ross stile ? have ya studied the art of drawing scenery ?

i am deeply in love with Bob Ross (I contractually have to be i have curly hair and draw)

as for scenery !!!!!!! it's always been not very fun for me, and requires more effort to bring myself to finish something with a bg compared to just drawing characters. I've studied objects from life and sketched a good bit of outside objects/scenes, and this has helped a bunch with placing objects in space and proportions etc.

in my everyday art tho i do tend to avoid scenery, so for the past year or so I've made the effort to paint them in pieces I render out because yes it's good to get out ur comfort zone, but also its the added challenge of: how can I make this fun for myself?? and that's been excitijg to explore with the idea in mind of like. I will just fuck around for awhile and stop when I want to

Omg your OCs are soo cool😳 they look so good together in composition just because of the body type but also they have character like I'm low-key in love with Roxanne from 1 pic. Idk maybe it's just your artstyle or the poses you choose but just that pic where she's dirty and tired and working and drinking with her casual clothes qososodkfkgjddjfgg I wanna know her dammit!!

the locked tomb is gay in the sense that it's a given that most of the main characters are lesbians, but because of the Troubles and Situations and Nightmares, they are constantly prevented from being in a relationship and are still working shit out

locked tomb fans are crawling through the cracks in the floor and swarming me !! help!!!!

jk it's on my list, I'm on the fence about angst but will consume much of anything if it's gay and well made

thank you anon! they come from real women: Roxanne (or Bee) is based off Michèle Mouton, a badass rally driver and Ken is based off Lyn Hill, badass rock climber

i like designing characters so these 2 got pumped out, made em sexy because I Can, and now I draw them in Situations :D

I usually do the pump n dump equivalent of making ocs but these two have been fun to draw and imagine how they met/live their lives etc. plus the feedback from them is motivating 😳
