event 001: initium; part three

rain taps against the windows of the whirring machine on its way home; excited first years, nervous fifth years, nostalgic seventh years grab their baggage to ride the roads towards a castle that will bring them nothing but surprises for the rest of the year. hogsmeade station is novel for some, a fine melody of the past for many. a crises averted, a future awaiting, the students of hogwarts leave the hogwarts express to walk through the doors that they have come to recognise as the beginning of everything.

the hogwarts express finds itself in the hogsmeade station at around 18:23:20. the students arrive at the gates at around 18:42:11, and are seated in the great hall at 19:00:01 sharp.

headmistress rutherford gives a speech about the importance of managing your priorities. several sounds of laughter echo through the hall when she mentions professor orellana’s likeliness to accidentally hex students through the recap of last year’s academic timeline.

the students begin eating at around 19:31:01, right after this year’s sortings.

and the final year for the small bunch of seventh years begins.
