So I’m only like halfway through reading Wolfsong for the first time and I had to draw Joe. (When things get said you procrastinate reading and make art instead!)

Im never gonna get over Wayward Son. This is my first time doing a painting with two people in it. And only my second time drawing Simon, which is a shame.

I am terrified of posting this. It feels much different posting cartoonish drawings vs drawing pictures of real people. But i decided to draw a person for the first time and picked him.

(Also staring at his smile for hours to draw this was great. His smile is really cute and my drawing in no way does it justice.)

Achilles’ rage

About the art:

I referenced the book art for the helmet. The glow is to represent Achilles godly powers. This piece is suppose to focus on after the death of Patroclus. So, the red around the glow is to reflect his anger and all the bloodshed.

I’m really new to doing anything art related but this was a lot of fun!
