I think this scene kind of showcases Savage's itty bitty protective side for Maul. He wasn't pissed that the snake dude doublecrossed him, he was pissed that he didn't attempt to help Maul at all.

I get why Maul has slashes over everything in his little hovel there (angry dude), but I can't quite figure out why he slashed out Satine's eyes.

Is it like a 'Ha Ha. I killed you' thing or does he hold Satine and Kenobi indirectly responsible for Savage's death (trying to put nyself in Maul's headspace where he blames everybody except for where the blame belongs)?

I kind of think that the picture is more like a trophy considering that he had the dark Saber right under her picture.
