I drew one of my favourite scenes from Shifting Lines by DovahTobi from AO3 - Sirius looks a tiny bit different to how he is described in the fanfiction however. my thoughts are that it is nonsense sorry…well actually to be specific my thoughts are that reg does not have a canon personality (other than a love of fascism) and so people have copy + pasted r’s personality onto him in fanon in order to start uwuifying him and whatnot. but really he doesn’t actually have a personality at all so there is nothing to go on to substantiate a comparison like that imo…

wren wrote a post about how people associate the word pretty with certain characteristics when it comes to sirius -- physical features that fall under a (current) white, western standard of the term -- and how it would be good to start expanding our notion of what pretty means. it's called a conversation. not a subtweet.

if someone misunderstood the content of that post to be "small femme sirius = bad" and felt personally threatened by that, that's on them for lack of reading comprehension. or maybe they're just white.
