So how are the muses been? I'm mostly asking since I have more more stumbled upon your ffxv stuff in my own binge to feed the insasible hunger of my most recent special interest of finding good time travel fix-its, but I know how writing can be so, how are you right now?

They've been busy as ever, by which I mean I'm actually drowning in aus for a bunch of fandoms! So I'm okay, but it's one reason I haven't been on here in ages. I already have too many aus to juggle without getting more.

So I was going thru the Nox verse tag again. While doing that, I had a Big Brain Moment. A logical explanation for /why/ LCs are spectacularly bad at self care/preservation/remembering to eat, all that. It's the draconic instinct. Dragons don't generally need to really defend themselves, they're covered in armor that very little can actually dent, nevermind get past. They genuinely don't need to eat for days, they usually eat big meals that take actual days to digest before they need more.

Honestly that's a hilarious thought and I may or may not be keeping it now, thanks.

I've read a few of your works. I'm a little confused by how you describe Caelum magic conveying emotions and such. What is the lore/logic there?

The lore/logic is based in how canon LC magic is clearly based in memory points at the Lucii ghosts and we DO see Noctis get a power boost when he gets upset enough in the game during brief points. Mostly my logic is that magic is innate to LCs, which means that as something that is innate and is also energy, it is going to react to their emotions and broadcast them unless they conscious decide not to. LC magic isn't a hard magic system or a science, it's literally a part of them, and I felt that meant it should be able to reflect/react/project their emotional states. Also I just really like using softer magic systems where magic is will and will is emotion and nobody can stop me. so.

Serious question: does Titus have long hair in Stand Strong verse? Since he's a Galahdian there, he should braid his hair and wear beads and you need longer hair for that than what he has in canon.

His hair is long enough to braid, in the sections needed for that, but I wouldn't call it long. The rest of it is still probably cut short.

Every time I go through the little nox ulric tag and reread the bit with Lib asking the astrals who the fuck would give an /ULRIC/ \LUCIS CAELUM MAGIC\ I can’t help the thought of ‘well, Lib, if we go by precedent, then logically the obvious culprit here is Regis, who we all know gave, of all people, /NYX FUCKING ULRIC/ magic.’ and it makes me giggle a little every time, lmao

sometimes i go back and reread your old ffxv fics because i'm love them <3 and i did that recently and felt a little nostalgic about it and then i went "wait why am i feeling nostalgic" and it's been??? five years since deleantur???? just a little less since nox????? i feel old. anyways all that to say you've been one of my favorite authors since 2019!!!! and i hope to be here for many more years <3

Hi! I hope you are well. Just dropping in to say that I LOVE your pebbles-verse, and Like a Pebble (Thrown In the River) is, without a doubt, my favorite "Shisui time travels" story. The cats and crows things are GREAT, and I love Niwa so much! She's such a great addition to the story and the depth of the world. I've been just re-reading that and its prequel over the past few days, and it makes me happy. I'm about to hit the character limit, so that's all for now! Take care

I have been working on this theory for a while now but...Sondor knew Oobleck before he was a grimm. My Evidence- beanstalk nick name, calling 'beanstalk' a nerd, and referencing a conference 'beanstalk' is going to in chapter 4. In chapter 7 when Sondor is detecting Oobleck's aura, it reminds him of beanstalks, though he isn't sure where he knows the word from. the jerky oobleck opens is also something Sondor remembers from Before. When eating the jerky,he remembers from before- 'beanstalk' said "I would hypothesize that there are certain types of minerals that are easier to chew-.” not only that, but Sondor remembers 'beanstalk's face obscured by round disks-glasses.

WHO IS THE ONLY GREEN THEMED NERD WITH ROUND GLASSES? OOBLECK. IVE CRACKED THE CASE WIDE OPEN

I was reading some transformers fanfiction and it's a solely underutilized idea to have humans and Cybertronians be in a symbiotic relationship. In nature all the time big animals will rely on smaller animals' help.

For example humans could give repairs, clean them, and help them reach smaller places. Cybertronians can give transportation and protection of course. They're emotional benefits too; humans are really nice soft things to touch and humans like having big robot friends :3.

So I'm imagining transformers realize how useful it is to have a human partner around so they start going around trying to get one. Anyways this leads to shenanigans of course and a lot of cracky moments.

The random human who owns the driveway: ...

Human: *turns around* Screw that! I'm not becoming part of the human distribution system today, no sir I am not.

No, AUW is not abandoned. Any fics that are abandoned or on hiatus will be marked as such in either their tags or description on ao3 :). I just have *checks list* 24 in progress fics, and that's **only** counting the ones that have at least one chapter posted on ao3, I have others that haven't even hit that stage yet still being worked on. It takes me a while to circle back to any given fic unless I get slapped upside the head with inspiration like what happened with AMOSC post watching Transformers One.
