Jace broke into magnus’s place in the middle of the night because why wouldn’t he? Magnus is his parabatai’s boyfriends so it would be a great idea to break in. He then proceeds to wake Magnus up just because he is bored and wants entertainment. Magnus then gets irritated because he was sleeping so peacefully. He just wanted Jace to leave so he could go back to sleeping in peace but obviously Jace isn’t just going to leave so easily so Magnus then decided to tell Jace a story hoping it would get rid of him. He decides to tell Jace the story of how he got banned from Peru. Magnus soon realized that was a bad idea because Jace came back for another day and this is how Magnus ended up getting disturbed every few nights by Jace just because he told one story. He realized he probably should gotten rid of Jace another way because now he Jace kept coming back and he wouldn’t leave.

This is how it would look:

Jace slowly opens Magnus’s window

Jace: Are you awake? Magnus

Magnus: Now I am what are you doing in my place? It’s 3 in the morning.

Jace: I was bored.

Magnus: And you came to bother me? Go find someone else to bother.

Jace: No thanks, I’m not leaving until you entertain me.

Magnus: Ugh I should seriously just turn you into a shoe rack.

Jace: But you won’t.

Magnus:will you go away if I tell you a story?

Jace: I might If it entertains me.

Magnus: *tells the story of how he got banned from Peru* now go away.

Jace: Fine but only because I was entertained.

A few days later

Jace opens Magnus’s window

Jace: Are you awake?

Magnus: Now I am. What do you want now?

Jace: I was hoping you would tell me another story.

Magnus: I shouldn’t have told you a story I should have gotten rid of you another way

Jace: The story??

Magnus: Ugh fine *proceeds to tell another story* Now leave me alone so I can sleep.

This then becomes Jace and Magnus’s routine where Jace breaks in every onces in a while and forces Magnus to tell him stories. That is how Jace knows so much about Magnus’s life.
