House Telvanni is one of the Great Houses of Morrowind. It governed the Telvanni District of eastern Morrowind, and administered the eastern portion of the Vvardenfell District from its council seat in Sadrith Mora. The house comprises mainly highly egocentric and ambitious mages, and is known to many as the house of the master wizard. Here, it was common to rise through the ranks by eliminating or otherwise 'indisposing' other members. Of the Telvanni lords, only Master Aryon of Tel Vos seemed able to look beyond the end of his own nose and at the concerns of other people; the rest wanted little more than to be left alone to their research and ambitions. The other members were similarly isolationist in outlook and did not intend to be presided over by any of the other institutions, predominantly the Guild of Mages. The Telvanni, in general, did not interact with other Houses or Guilds, nor did they have many enemies save for Abolitionists and the Imperial Mages Guild. In the Second Era, they refused to join the Ebonheart Pact, much to the chagrin of the other houses. On the other hand, the Telvanni did not have the usual hatred of vampires that most other factions had, and some of their lords and Mouths were willing to speak to them; wizards did not fear vampires nearly as much as others did. All of the Telvanni Councilors on Vvardenfell lived in great towers (which required levitation to ascend), with one leader in each of their main towns: Sadrith Mora, Tel Aruhn, Tel Vos, Tel Mora, and Tel Branora. None of the Telvanni towns were on the Silt Strider routes; the only transport available to them was by boat, except for Sadrith Mora itself. Being the only Telvanni town with a significant Imperial presence, it could be reached by Guild Guide from another Mages Guild to the nearby Imperial-controlled Wolverine Hall. On the mainland, House Telvanni lands included the fort of Firewatch, east of Tel Mora, and Port Telvannis, located on the islands to the northeast of the mainland which extend out into the Padomaic Ocean.

Queen Potema, the "Wolf Queen of Solitude", the daughter of the Emperor Pelagius Septim II, wife of King Mantiarco, aunt of the Empress Kintyra II, mother of Emperor Uriel III, and sister of the Emperors Antiochus, Cephorus I and Magnus, is best known for her role in the War of the Red Diamond. In 3E 120, she launched a rebellion, and overthrew her niece Empress Kintyra II the following year so that her son could become Emperor Uriel Septim III. Although the war ended in 3E 127, it was another ten years, capped off by a month-long siege at her castle in Solitude, before Potema herself was defeated. She has been described as "unambiguously evil", and is remembered as one of the most dangerous necromancers in the history of Tamriel

Silt Striders are giant arthropods, which can be up to 60 feet tall. Used as a means of transport in Morrowind by manipulating exposed organs and tissues. It is said that their numbers dwindled due to the Red Year, when the eruption of the Red Mountain killed most of them and destroyed their native habitat.

Despite being in the general area of Morrowind, the climate of Solstheim is more like that of Skyrim. According to Nord legend, it was originally a part of the mainland until a titanic battle between two Dragon Priests, the Guardian and the Traitor, ended in Solstheim being sundered from the rest of Skyrim in the Merethic Era. The Traitor, Miraak, had turned on his dragon masters under the influence of Hermaeus Mora and fled to Solstheim. The Guardian, Vahlok the Jailor, fought with Miraak, and the Dragon Cult burned his temple to the ground. Miraak escaped their vengeance by retreating into Apocrypha. The Dragon Cult then ruled over Solstheim until the time of the Dragon War, when the Nords rose up against Alduin鈥檚 tyrannical rule.

The Atmorans were among the first organized human settlers on Tamriel and had been emigrating from Atmora for many years prior. They called the land Mereth, in recognition of the vast number of Mer that lived there, and befriended the local Snow Elves. They built the great city of Saarthal, the first major Atmoran settlement in Skyrim as well as the first city of Men in the continent of Tamriel. One night, an invading force of Snow Elves descended upon Saarthal and slaughtered the inhabitants. The city itself was burned to the ground. These events became known as the Night of Tears. This tome seeks to understand both the causes and consequences of this event.

lesser daedra
The Daedric Princes are only the most powerful of the Daedra, and many of them have many servants known as Lesser Daedra. Even though many lesser daedra are associated to a Daedra Prince in particular, in reality any individual daedroth can serve any Daedra Prince, or even stay unaligned. Some are in service to mortals; for example, the Tribunal Temple was known to use Daedra to guard pilgrimage sites.
From the book Darkest Darkness, we read of these lesser beings that mortals can summon. Some of them can be controlled, although it seems more likely that the higher Daedra are simply "lending out" their servants to worshippers and followers:
"Most Daedric servants can be summoned by sorcerers only for very brief periods, within the most fragile and tenuous frameworks of command and binding. This fortunately limits their capacity for mischief, though in only a few minutes, most of these servants can do terrible harm to their summoners as well as their enemies.
Worshippers may bind other Daedric servants to this plane through rituals and pacts. Such arrangements result in the Daedric servant remaining on this plane indefinitely -- or at least until their bodily manifestations on this plane are destroyed, precipitating their supernatural essences back to Oblivion. Whenever Daedra are encountered at Daedric ruins or in tombs, they are almost invariably long-term visitors to our plane.
Likewise, lesser entities bound by their Daedra Lords into weapons and armor may be summoned for brief periods, or may persist indefinitely, so long as they are not destroyed and banished. The class of bound weapons and bound armors summoned by Temple followers and conjurers are examples of short-term bindings; Daedric artifacts like Mehrunes Razor and the Masque of Clavicus Vile are examples of long-term bindings."

Credit to @theminttu Dark Elves hail from the province of Morrowind. They are dark-skinned people with red, glowing eyes. They are known to be extremely strong and intelligent, and very quick. Dark Elves seem innately attuned to weaving magic with weapons. They are adept in any art involving the blade and shield combined with the arcane arts. This proud鈥攊f suspicious鈥攔ace prefers the name Dunmer. Out of the races of mer, and even man, the Dark Elves are the most distinguishable next to the Orcs. With a fiery crimson color engulfing their entire eyes and ashen skin covering their bodies, the Dunmer stand out in pure outlandish features and the fact that these features remind any who know of their dark past. Fittingly, they live in a land that pairs well with their characteristics. Morrowind is a land of ash, wastes and lava alongside strange vegetation and creatures. Situated in northeastern Tamriel and separated from its neighbors by the Velothi and Valus mountain ranges, along with the northern swamps of Black Marsh, Morrowind is its own little world.
