Two years...

Got an email today from Tumblr congratulating on my 2nd anniversary. I can't believe I've had this blog for two years so I decided to go through all my posts. I must say, its been an emotional two years. I'm sure I've cried more than I've laughed in the last two years. By far the worst two years of my life. I can honestly say I fell apart. Too much much has gone on actually. Heartbreak, letting myself down, stepdad dying, meeting my biological father, job market not being so welcoming. Trials and tribulations of life I suppose On the bright side I've also achieved quite a bit. A degree, a certificate in Copywriting for Advertising Media, my drivers licence, interning at RedInk, becoming a godmother amongst other things. One of the core things I've had to learn is letting go. It isn't easy and its something I struggle with everyday but I know its necessary. Not letting go has had me stuck in the same place for the longest time but I guess every situation life throws at you provides some sort of lesson. More than anything, I have grown. I'm not the woman I want to be just yet but slowly but surely I'm getting there. I guess you can say, I'm "handling" it. I suppose everything that happens; good or bad is material for my biography. To those that have followed this blog, thank you. I really appreciate it. I shall continue rambling about things that matter to me hoping it touches or inspires you somehow.
