Had my first campaign outing this weekend in Cary, IL and the event hosts had a major garden -- talk about #GardenGoals! Don't let this happen to you.... when it gets hot, water and your plants!! We've been out of town this weekend, and the plants weren't happy 😕. But they're not dead!! Remember long throrough waters, sometimes twice a day are best on hot summer days!! #SeedlingsAndSprouts

Quick weekend trip to DC and got to stop by my favorite, @freshfarmmarkets Farmers market!! Came for ripe juicy strawberries and they didn't disappoint! And so disappointed I couldn't bring a tomato plant on the plane... 2 for $6 is an unbelievable deal!! #endlessstrawberries #tomatoesfordays #lavenderlove (at Dupont Circle Farmers Market)

First garden buys of the season!! Caputos had all their 4 pack veggie seedlings for $1.39. Showed quite a bit of restraint... mom got lettuce and arugula and I got a yellow bell pepper plant. Mom's never done peppers and it is Mother's Day afterall 😍 looking forward to sharing our afternoon planting tomorrow! #SeedlingsandSprouts (at Caputo's Fresh Market)
