Rook Wednesday — Spring

Here are four of my rooks (mostly repurposed art that I added flowers to) with the flower I associate with them!

I really enjoy the lesbian coloured snapdragon for Jordan. My favourite bitchy lesbian.

What’s your rooks favourite flower?

Other than the four listed above, Achilles loves in game flower Shroud’s Kiss (for a mourn watcher and Emmrich kisser, this should not be surprising). Quinn loves sunflowers for their bright happiness and hope. Via prefers a classic red rose, because she’s a flirt but a romantic deep down. She absolutely covers Bellara’s room in red roses as a romantic gesture.

Does your rook have a green thumb?

Caspian for sure does. He’s always loved plants and when he and Davrin get their little cottage he tends a lot to their garden! Aria grows ingredients for her alchemy but she’s not particularly adept she just keeps them alive until she needs them. Achilles didn’t grow up gardening or anything but he loves flowers so he asks Harding to teach him gardening so he can grow all of Emmrich’s favourite flowers for him. 😌

Do your rooks have any allergies?

Caspian is Lactose Intolerant and Jordan is allergic to nuts (like me!) otherwise I think they all have mild seasonal allergies because I’m suffering from them right now and thus I will project it all on them as well.

Alec plays piano very well. A skill he learned at Viago’s insistence so that he could become more “cultured.”

What sort of music would your Rook like in real life?

Definitely pop punk, alternative, and he would be an unashamed Swiftie who would fight anyone who calls it Basic. He’s a The Tortured Poets Department girlie. He feels seen by it.
