The First Date

A walk around the parc was Shadow idea- in hope Sonic would embarass himself in grand public or fall in the river nearby.

As for Sonic idea of this date- he got to choose the "parc near water" requested by the other hedgehog- in the middle of the city. Planing to race.

Turnout Shadow got to walk around the parc, enjoying the sunset. And Sonic got to race with Shadow in the city just as he had hope for so they woulnt be late for their dinner reservation!

Which didn't get to enjoy as a certain egg shaped baldy man decided he was bored.

Update once again-

Dang am i anoying with him huh! At least this bad boi got a lots of fans-

all of this just to say- ive finished is Reference Sheet! (final design unless more updates or changes to his design)

LOREWISE:

Shadow, after over 15 years since waking up up from stacis, still suffer from horid nightmare and gory visions on a daily basic.

This PTSD had turned him into a selfish violent creature many times already but with the help of his friends, his anger issue are getting better. As time past, he find himself mourning less and less for Maria. Her name alone isnt enough to trigger a tantrum for him anymore.

That dosent mean hes willing to accept her lost yet.

After so many tries from Rouge and Sonic to make him see the poeple around him, Shadow refuse to belive he have any other family then hers.

He only learned of Comets existance by Cream as an accident. The hoglets was already 3 years old when the new had reach him. Ever since, Shadow and Sonic been running in circle like hamster in a cage. None knowling of the impact they were leaving on their own son.

Took me a while but it’s finally done!

Im so proud of this ref for real- ⭐️✨

it’s the first time I got as far as drawing a background from scratch! Which is- to me- a lot of work. I doubt I’m the only artist with a burning passion for drawings hands and backgrounds- normally, my background are either plain white/transparent or solide color with/without random designs.

So yea- enough boring yapping from me- here’s the Ref💙🦔🩵

As the text mentions;

Sonic move around a bunch.

Like- move 🏠 ➡️ 🏠 and ⛰️ to 🏜️- I mean- sonic character isint the type to stay put- am I right?) .

He’s mostly afraid of confrontation. From Shadow. You see, when Sonic was left alone with a newborn hoglet, his first reflex was to hide it and search for a safe place for the kid. Which was- bothering the Prowlers quiet life to crash in their basement. Comets will pass most of his there. Raised by both his Papa and his uncle.

Whenever Shadow would come to the country, for missions or just to catch with Rouge, even if miles away from their neighborhood, Sonic would escape as far away as possible to avoid confrontation.

Fear based by the constant anger issue Shadow’s suffer from. And his weird family issues-. Cream first suspected Sonic was scared to tell Shadow by fear the father would ask for the guardianship. Which lead to a série of hidden messages to her old grumpy babysitter.

Because of this fear- Sonic went back to a lot of old houses and friends, such as the Babylon’s rogue, Stick, Mighty and Ray, and other peep he had met along his hero career. He never lost contact to his friend and he grew to cherish that, something passing months away from his child to nurture his friendships.

Later, Comets will grow distant to his papa. The blue hedgehog couldn’t even name who’s his best friend is!
