“It’s hard — losing those who were more than just an inspiration to us… But it’s not a bad thing. The ability to inspire, to love life, to be happy, sad, creative — it gets passed on to us next.”
That’s what I said to a girl who shared how sad she felt: her favorite bloggers had stopped making videos. Just like that — on a sunny or cloudy day — they stopped. Unexpected for everyone, but not for them.
Maybe they woke up and told their work, “goodbye.” Maybe they had been holding onto that decision for days. Or maybe, they never woke up — leaving behind only a trace.
They taught us so much. And still, each of us will eventually say: leaving isn’t always a bad thing.
They showed us their flowers and how they cared for them — so that one day, our own gardens could bloom.
