I understand that one must come and leave this world alone, but why do I have to experience the whole process in the same manner.
Let me have an intimate moment where both hearts touch and words flow flawlessly.
Old and lonely is something piercing and deeply destructive.
I want to feel the calmness of life, not its bad side.

I do not wish to feel numb anymore.
Give me hope through love, I cant do this any longer.
This soft and urgent feeling between two souls
I want to be one of its victim and survivor.
What shall I do to be on the other side of the fence
I am tired of looking at others, envy and fatigue in my face, wishing for more every day.

The thoughts of a better future haunt my mind every day and night, but as time goes on, nothing changes.
The times I once saw as centuries away are now here, and nothing changed.
Not even my hope has been altered, but I do feel something rotting inside me ever so slowly.

Often we hear mourning people rant about the regret associated with losing what they failed to see the value of before, but seldom do we give such attention to those who are constantly painfully aware of what they have and cant do anything to stop it from leaving their hands.
We must simply sit there, looking sadly at the window , while our most cherished people and advantages slowly disappear. We must endure the horrific and anxious emotion surrounding not only our heart, but our daily lives as well.
