Hi all!! I'm so sorry for how long its been since I last posted anything here. I did not want to let this account just sit and collect dust, but that is what I have been doing.
These last two months have been crazy, seeing as I graduated, moved to another state, and have been trying to get settled in my college classes. There are currently two Eddie Roundtree requests which I am trying to my hardest to get done (sorry if you're one of the lovely people that has requested one) and some other works that have been sitting in my drafts. forgive my absence, but I please know I haven't forgotten you. <3 Lots of love !!

Hi, I saw you are open for Eddie Roundtree requests, so here's my idea.
So reader is an actress or actor and they basically meet at an event and just have a one nightstand and Eddie just gets fond of them and asks them on a date.
Hope I'm not bothering you with this
kiss you fool!

a/n: hi! sorry this took so long to respond to, but pls its no bother at all!! I actually had a lot of fun thinking about this one and rewrote it a few times. And I ALMOST wrote smut but I decided it would be better suited for another time. Please enjoy and remember, reboots and likes help <3
─── ・ 。゚☆: . . :☆゚. ─── ➶ ─── ・ 。゚☆: . . :☆゚. ───
The music that was blasting throughout the house was disorienting on its own, but mixed with a few lines, too many beers, and the aftermath of a sold out show at the bar downtown, Eddie was starting to feel the effects of it all as he stumbled through the living room.
Bodies were pressed up against one another, the air in the room was lacking, despite every door and window in the house being open. The Six had opened their home up to the limited music scene they had made connections with, an attempt to get their name out there, as well as an excuse to drink and party.
Eddie smiled lazily as he found his way onto the couch, sitting in the middle of it, head thrown back. His hair was a mess, the mix of sweat and alcohol only made the pounding in his chest faster.
He felt the couch next to him sink in, looking over he found you. Your hair was up, away from your face, a drink in your hand that made the rings scattered around your fingers shine as you lifted the cup to your lips.
Eddie was a bit dazed by you if he was being honest. The way the low lighting of the house played against your makeup, the way you looked around the party, eyes scanning for something - or someone - made him curious.
"How did a pretty thing like yourself stumble in here?" Eddie shouted, the music almost enough to drown him out.
You looked over at him. His eyes were shiny, glazed. He was high, and his sudden words had caught you off guard. But you recognized him instantly. He was the bassist of one of Teddy's bands. You'd only seen them once or twice in the studio, and had spoken to Billy a handful of times, but you were too busy trying to find your own way in the fame scene.
You gave him a small smile, not wanting to judge too quickly about the powder around his nose.
"The front door was open, and I figured that the rock stars would have something fun to drink." He let out a laugh, nodding his head, wiping his nose clean with his sleeve.
"Yeah, we wanted to welcome the community into our home. I'm in a band you know?"
You nodded, playing along, pretending you could have no possible clue who he was.
"Really?"
"Oh yeah, you know we're nothing special yet, just working on an album right now but I mean…I am pretty good if I say so myself." He held a hand up, playing up on his sarcasm and faux chilled nature.
You rolled your eyes, taking another swig of your drink, shaking your head, "Who are you signed with?"
Eddie sat up at this question, more surprised that that was the first question you asked him, rather than what band he was in.
"With um, Runner Records, specifically we're working with Teddy Price. He," Eddie could feel the high drifting away from him, his mind trying to focus on the conversation you two were working your way on, "He's the only one that thought we might have a chance. Why do you ask?" He asked, unsure if the words he was saying even made sense.
“I know Teddy. He’s a sweetheart, he’s been trying to help me get my own thing out here. I’m acting.” You smiled, placing the empty cup back on the table.
He stuck his hand towards you, "It's nice to meet you. I’m Eddie."
You took his invitation, shaking his hand. The party goers came and went, people leaving to their own homes and apartments, or finding somewhere to sleep in the house itself.
Eventually you found yourself and Eddie alone, the music nothing but a lazy guitar coming from the porch. Eddie had told you about his childhood, how he had become quick friends with Graham, and moved out to LA as much as it broke his heart to leave behind his family. You told him about how you had packed it all up one day, found Teddy, and got lucky. You both found that note similar between you two, both of you felt that you had been more lucky than likely deserved. He was a hard ass who wished he had more power over his sound, you were always trying to find the best path for yourself and your career.
Eventually you two found yourselves bumping shoulders, leaning into one another.
"I should get going." You whispered. You were looking down at his hand which sat resting against your leg, rubbing soft circles against your knee. He was so gentle, which threw you for a loop considering the absolute asshole he could be at a moment's notice. But he had been nothing but sweet, and inviting.
“Why don’t you stay the night?” He asked, looking down at your face. Eddie was starting to feel something deep in his chest. The drinks and the drugs were long gone, replaced by something he felt was much stronger. He felt relaxed, which was hard to do in a house filled with 20 somethings that were up on drugs, drinks, and energy.
You returned the glance, smiling coyly. “You asking me to spend the night? Haven't even bought me dinner yet.” Your eyes traveled down to his lips, unable to resist the way they turned into a coy smile.
He laughed but it didn’t deter him. His hand moved past your knee, sliding his fingers gently across your thigh, your breath caught as his lips lingered closer to your neck, whispering, “I’ll do anything you want.”
Within a moment something changed, and eventually you and Eddie were tripping over the solo cups and discarded decorations, forcing your way into any room that was yet to be occupied until you eventually found one. It was quiet and in an area in the far back of the house that you were sure that no one wouldn’t stumble upon you two.
You pulled away for a moment catching your breath as Eddie leaned his head next to you on the door. He stared down at you, his eyes tracing over your lips, down to your neck. His fingers run softly against your sides, toying with the hem of your shirt until his fingers hooked themselves in your jeans loops, pulling you closer to him.
“You're so pretty sweetheart.” He mumbled.
─── ・ 。゚☆: . . :☆゚. ─── ˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ ─── ・ 。゚☆: . . :☆゚. ───
The next morning came bright and loud, with the banging of pans and drums. You shifted, letting out a low groan at the disturbances, rolling over until you stopped, feeling the chest of a warm body next to your own.
Your eyes shot open to find a sleeping Eddie, resting gently against the pillow, hair a mess and covering his face in a way that just perfectly captured his jaw and eyes. You couldn’t help but stare at him for a moment, the way that his eyebrow was frozen in a pointed way that made you question if he was actually sleeping or anticipating your next move. His lips parted slightly, and a soft beauty mark rested just above it.
A knock at the door brought you back to your senses, someone calling to Eddie that he had to get up for a meeting in the city. You took that as your cue, collecting your garments from the floor, redressing yourself as quietly as you could.
Or you thought, until you felt two strong arms wrap themselves around your waist, then a scruffy face leaning against your shoulder.
“Good morning sweetheart. Did you sleep well?” He asks, his morning voice making you smile. He lays a soft kiss against your shoulder, sending chills down your body. You almost want to try to encourage a part two of the night before but elect to take your leave, not wanting to be the kind that tries to hang out after what could be seen as a one night stand.
“I’ve gotta head out. I’m sure I’ve missed a few calls by now.” You turn, facing him. He looks even better awake, staring back at you with a soft pout. You lean down, tracing his jawline with your fingers, pulling him in for a soft kiss.
You smile, whispering a small, “Bye Eddie.”
You stand, ready to do a walk of shame through the house, until his fingers wrap around your wrist, gently.
“Wait” He says, “I’ll walk you out.”
Eddies gets dressed, then the two of you walk out of his room, to the front door. There’s a few people scattered around the living room. The two girls smile, giving you a wave that you return. Eddie opens the front door, arm wrapped loosely around your waist.
Your turn to face him, smiling as you try to find the right words to say.
But he speaks first. “Please tell me I can see you again.” He says. It's almost a question, almost a soft begging from him.
“Don’t worry, I think you will.” You giggle, grabbing your bag strap nervously.
“Could I take you out to dinner?” He smiles, lifting his eyebrow, meeting your eyes with his soft brown ones.
You roll your eyes, grabbing the collar of his shirt, pulling him into another much more chaste kiss. You pull away, hand resting against his chest.
“Is that answer enough?” He nods, a dumbfounded look on his face. “Eddie, relax, I can feel your heart beating.”

Hey, love your work :) Maybe you could write something for Eddie along the lines of him having a crush on the reader, but thinking the reader and Graham are in a relationship bc they are so close, but the reader also has a huge crush on Eddie and they have some sort of fight or talk, where they realise they both have a crush on each other :)

a/n: yesyesyes! Thank you so much by the way, I try :,). I've never written something like this before, so give me a chance here. Some slight deviations from the story we know and love. Thank you for the prompt <3 sorry it took like 5 months to get it done!!
─── ・ 。゚☆: . . :☆゚. ─── ➶ ─── ・ 。゚☆: . . :☆゚. ───
Graham’s arm wrapped around your shoulder, pulling you against him as you lounged on the couch together, whispering like you usually did. You whispered something to him, making him laugh so loud that Eddie could hardly keep pretending to focus on the TV set. He rolled his eyes, readjusting himself on the love seat as he tried to drown out the laughter of you and Graham.
“You know, there’s rooms all over this house you two could go to if you need some time alone.” Warren laughed, teasing the two before sliding himself down next to Eddie, pushing his legs off.
Eddie couldn’t help but glare at him, rubbing at his temple. A few hours ago he had felt so good, so refreshed when you came walking through the door, bags in hand for a two week visit from upper Cali. Eddie had been home with Warren, watching some sitcom, bored out of his mind. When he saw you standing in the doorway he almost knocked you over by how quickly he wrapped his arms around you, burying his face in the crook of your neck.
“God, I’ve missed you.” He sighed, pulling away enough to look you right in the eye.
You couldn’t help but look away in an attempt to hide the heat rising in your cheeks. You smiled, taking in the way his fingers pushed against you, the way he carried this glint in his eye that you swore he held only for you. “Could say the same for you.”
Warren entered the room with open arms asking where his hug was. You placed a hand on Eddie’s cheek before pulling away to give Warren a much more casual hug. You’d spend a few hours with the two, mostly answering questions asked about what you had been up to, if you’d been booked lately, how long you would be around. Then the Dunne brothers had arrived and Graham had all but scooped you off the couch, the two of you laughing and quick to fall into step in order to catch up on everything you’d missed while being away.
So now Eddie was stomping around the house like some big kid, making his annoyance known. And you picked up on it, watching from your peripheral as he paced around the kitchen, picking at the leftovers in the counter and cold beers in the fridge.
Graham leaned over to you, poking at your shoulder before whispering another joke into your ear that made you giggle.
“I’m going for a smoke.” Eddie muttered, slamming the fridge shut and walking out to the balcony. You bit your lip as he walked out, contemplating if you could go join him.
You went to the kitchen and grabbed a beer. Warren waltzed in and grabbed a box of cereal, pouring a bit into his hand and giving you a goofy smile.
“Hey, need help?” He pointed at the bottle in your hands which you handed to him gladly, glancing out the back door to Eddie who was leaning against the railing, the cigarette glowing a soft red against the low light.
“He’s had the biggest crush on you forever y’know?” Warren laughed, popping the lid of the bottle and returning back to his cereal.
You whipped your head around to look at Warren, eyes wide. “What?”
You asked, trying to figure out if you may have been hearing things. Warren was high, that's why he was eating cereal out of his hand and giggling like a mad man.
“Dude, you’ve never wondered why he always looks like a ray of sunshine everytime you come around? Or why is he the first one to get up and hug you like it’s the last time he’ll do it?” Warren shook his head, grinning. “That’s not just because he wants to.” Warren walked away, leaving you to consider what he told you.
One one hand, he was high, and giggly with or without the leaf. On the other hand, there was something about the way Eddie held you, the way he kept you near him even if some model or groupie had her arm slung around him.
Eddie looked back, quickly straightened up when he saw you coming through the door, smiling softly when you leaned against him. The two of you remained silent until you plucked the cigarette out of his hand, taking a hit of it before stomping it out under your foot.
“Those things will kill you, you know?” You asked, looking up at him. He smiled down at you and motioned towards the beer.
“You aren’t doing much better, how long do you think casting directors will let you get away with the drinking?” He teased, referring to the booked shoots you had told him and Warren about.
Your smile faltered a bit, something he was quick to pick up on. “What’s wrong love?”
“Oh Eddie,” you teared up but quickly wiped them away and bit your lip to try and deter the tears, “I haven’t gotten booked in months. My mom’s threatening to send my brothers to come get me, doesn’t want me to be up here anymore, not if I’m not working.”
“Why didn’t you say anything?” He asked, eyebrows furrowed as he hesitated to wrap his arms around you. You leaned against him, tears still rolling softly. His hands ran themselves against your hair, doing his best to comfort you. “Does Graham know?”
You nodded a yes. “It doesn’t matter. He thinks it would be good for me to see my family for a bit, and maybe stay there. I was never made for the California lifestyle like you guys.”
Eddie scoffed, shaking his head. He pulled away from you, walking back towards the balcony. “Well that’s a shitty thing. Why would he encourage you to go back? Doesn’t he love you enough to try and keep you here, help you anyway he can?”
“You guys have so much going on with the band- I mean you’re on the brink of hitting it big, I don’t wanna be a bother either.”
“No.” Eddie walked back to you, gently taking your arms into his hands as he held you softly. “You could never be a bother okay? Not to me, never. I-” He hesitated, choosing his next words carefully. “I’d do anything to have you stay by my side. Anything.”
Your breath hitched. For a second you forgot that you and Eddie weren’t alone. You forgot that a few feet away your friends sat drinking and smoking and that the balcony wasn’t your own oasis to share with the boy you were sure you had loved since you were 16, the first time he performed on a stage that wasn’t set up in someone’s backyard and there had been something more than just a passion for the music.
“Eddie…I really like you.” You smiled, watching his face for any kind of reaction.
His eyebrows furrowed and he stepped back slightly. How could you say that? How could you admit that you had feelings when your boyfriend was sitting feet away from the two of you. “What about Graham?” he asked, eyebrows furrowed.
You follow suit, looking back at the house then back at Eddie. “Why do you keep asking about him?”
Eddie stayed silent, a blush rising to his face as he pushed his hair out of his face, looking out towards the city. “I thought the two of you were going steady.”
You stood there not really sure how to react. You wanted to laugh, ask him if that’s why he’d been so sour the minute the Dunne’s had arrived. But the more overwhelming sense in you wanted to grab him and kiss him, show him that you and Graham had never been anything but best friends and that he’d been the one you thought about late at night. Eddie was the one that you had dreams and hopes for, more so than the boys you’d known since birth.
And so you did. Before you even knew it you captured Eddie’s lips against your own, your hand resting gently against his cheek as his hands found their way against the small of your back. And he smiled. He smiled against your lips like he was the happiest man in the world. When you both pulled away you looked up at him but his eyes remained closed.
“What’s wrong?” “Just scared I’ll open them and it’ll be a dream.”
You laughed, hitting against his chest softly. “Why didn’t you say anything?” “Was worried about losing you.”
“Hey”, you wrapped your arms around his shoulders. He looked down at you, his arms finding their way around your body, like it was the most natural thing to him. “Not one person is more important to me than you.”

As a fan of the book and hater of the show, I have a lot of ideas that are all just me projecting.

a/n: erm...hi!! first eddie fic and this man has been in my head for the last month non stop. bit of a fluff/hurt comfort piece. this is the first thing i've finished reading in a long time, and i have some more stuff in the works. please like and reblog, its really helps :)!!
"You know I adore you, I'm crazier for you Than I was at 16...I counted days, I counted miles To see you there, to see you there...Leave with my head hung, you are the only one Who seems to care..."
─── ・ 。゚☆: . . :☆゚. ─── ➶ ─── ・ 。゚☆: . . :☆゚. ───
Your hands were traveling all over Eddie's body, pulling at the collar of his shirt, tangled in his hair. His lips were desperate against yours, searching every part of you that you'd let him.
"Baby, I gotta go-" He gasped, breathing heavily as he pulled his lips away from yours. His hand gripped the back of your neck while the other rested against the small of your back. The crowd could be heard echoing throughout the walls of the stadium, their cheers and screams bouncing around the two of you.
You nodded, giving him a smile and one last kiss. "Walk me down to the room?" He nodded, helping you down from the amps you had found your way onto.
Eddie and you had been together for over five years, since the last half of senior year. He was quick to ask you to come with him, and you hadn't hesitated to follow him and the band out west to California.
Eddie swayed slightly as he walked you down to the back room, where the others would be, preparing to take their time on the stage. He was smiling his beautiful upturned, soft smile.
"What's got you so happy? Excited?" You asked, squeezing his bicep.
"Just thinking about how lucky I am, to have someone like you with me. If I could have anything in the world, I'd still choose you." He looked down at you.
Your chest tightened with something, filled with the love and excitement of knowing that you had him. Eddie could be a real hard ass, always getting too mad too fast. But somehow, you could never make him mad. Did you annoy him sometimes? Of course, but not as much as Billy or Graham could. Did he love to goof around with Warren? Duh, but when it came to you, it was like he didn't have anything to prove, anything to leave behind to know you would still be there after a show or a gig in a bar. And you felt great comfort in knowing that despite the drinking, the drugs, and the chance to flirt with another, he would never do anything that left you alone or in pain.
As you two arrived in front of the door you took his hand in yours, giving it a tight squeeze.
"I love you a lot." You smile, kissing his knuckles, running your fingers over the callouses that covered his fingers.
The door swung open and Warren let out a cheer, pointing his drumsticks in the air.
"Let's fucking do this!!" He yelled, a mirage of cheers coming from behind him. "Woah, sorry to interrupt lovebirds, but we have a show to put on." He laughed, pulling Eddie with him.
Eddie rolled his eyes, mouthed a quick love you, and began walking in stride with the drummer, the others quickly following behind, giving you a wave and smile.
You walked into the room, which reeked of weed and alcohol. There were three groupies sitting on the couches and lounging around the floor. They usually stayed around for a bit, went to the show, then came back to freshen up before the band got back. Usually, you and Camila would sit in the corner, talk about life with your boys, and talk about the next show. But Camila was at home, pregnant, and could not stand being around the waves of smells.
So you sat alone, leaning against the couch that was more focused in the corner, just a bit farther from the four girls that littered the room. Usually, they clung to Warren and Graham, but you weren't immune to the looks they would give Eddie, they did the same thing to Billy, whether you and Camila were or weren't here.
You sighed, leaning your head back, hearing the crowd get louder as the band began their set. The cheers were enough to make you excited to see Eddie after the show. He would be full of energy and power, seeing as this was one of the biggest crowds, based on what the sounds themselves told you.
"Hey, you're the one that's always with Eddie, right?" One of the girls called.
You looked towards her, her makeup slightly messy, hair blown back. She was smiling, and for a moment you thought she might be showing you a bit of kindness.
"Yeah, always by his side." You smiled, prideful that you made your presence around him notable.
"Mm, yeah, you should try to do that less." She smirked, her hand lifting another hill of powder up to her nostril.
You looked at her, confused about what she could mean. Your arms wrapped around one another, hugging yourself as you leaned into her words.
"Yeah, that's just like, hook-up 101. You don't want to annoy them, just give them enough to keep it up." She winked, as the girls around her laughed.
There was a sudden ache in the bottom of your stomach, the way she eyed you, the way she had let the words drip off her tongue.
"Well," You squared your shoulders, "Good thing I'm not just a hookup. Eddie and I are together, have been for a while."
"Oh, sure. I'm not doubting that, I'm just saying maybe if you acted like you were just a hook-up, he wouldn't have the need to go find one of us." She shrugged, pouting her lips.
The malice in her voice, in her eyes. There was serious pity in what she was telling you and you had no idea how to react. She could be lying, she could be just playing up a story to try and get a reaction. Why would you give her that and her friends that?
You silently grabbed your stuff and walked out. If you took one last look or said something you weren't sure if it would be with anger or tears. The crowd was still cheering, yelling out as the band began the second half of their set but the only thing you could hear was the pounding in your head.
You made your way out the area's back door, the one nearest to where the bus had parked. Teddy was right outside, smoking a cigarette.
"Hey, darling-" You looked over at him, tears welling over in your eyes. He immediately turned to you, a look of concern splashed over his face. "What's going on?"
"Nothing Teddy. Just um, you know how these girls can be." You gave him a soft smile, wiping away the tears in your eyes. He gave you a nod, saying nothing before offering you a cigarette from his pack.
You took it, lit it, and let out a long exhale as your head rested against the wall of the arena.'
"You know, I don't know how to get, sentimental. I'm not the best with words or anything, but I will tell you this: Eddie would never do whatever those girls in there said."
"It's alright Teddy, I don't need any lies or cover stories. I'm a big girl, he's a big guy, and I'll have that conversation with him." You smiled, taking another drag.
"I've toured with bands for almost fifty years and you think I'm gonna start covering them now? Look, I know how these guys tend to get. I've toured with lots of bands for a long time, and I tell you, that boy is one of the very few that has never even looked at another woman the entire time I've been here."
The tears began to well in your eyes again, that tight feeling in your chest returning. You knew Teddy was right. But there was always a small part of you to doubt Eddie even though he had never given you a reason to. You felt it could be because of what Camila had found out about Billy, and you knew everything he had put her through. You had been the one to hold her at the hospital after Julia came, as Billy was on his way to rehab. You could never see Eddie putting you through that, and for all you cared, Eddie was ten times the guy Billy had ever been.
"All I'm saying is, if anyone is gonna tell you the truth, it's that boy. And he's still going to apologize for even letting you think that way even though he had no hand in it."
So why put yourself through the what if's when you could ask the man that loved you for yourself?
"You're right." You flicked the burnt stub to the ground, and stomped it out, turning to Teddy. "Thank you, Teddy."
He smiled, and grabbed the door, letting you back inside. The show itself was coming to an end, you could tell as the chorus for Honeycomb began. You rush to a bathroom, fix your eyeliner and lipstick, fluffed your hair, then made your way back to the band's room.
As you opened the door you saw that the girls had all quieted down, trying to fix themselves up before the others returned. You weren't going to say a word, just going to let actions speak for themself.
A few minutes later, the band rushed into the room, cheering, and jumping around as the girls got up to greet whoever they wanted. You sat, waiting patiently for your boy to appear.
When he did, his eyes scanned the room, looking frantically for you. When they landed on him he made no hesitation to race across the room, dropping to his knees in front of where you sit.
"Hi baby." He smiled, catching you in a kiss. Your arms wrapped around his shoulders, his around your waist as he held you close to his body. He gripped you so hard you would think that someone was going to come into his arms and rip you away from him. He shifted around, so his head rest against your lap as you played with his hair.
And all the bad feelings disappeared. Maybe one day you would have the conversation with Eddie, tell him what had been said to you, what you thought she could mean. But for now, you knew that Teddy's words rang true. Eddie was a hothead, but he wasn't a cheater. He was someone whose heart had enough room for one person, and that just happened to be you.

Druig's eyes danced over you, taking his time to observe your movements. Your powers were still emerging, but he knew even now that great things were bound to come your way. He strolled quietly until he was behind you, you oblivious as your mind focused on the sounds around you. To anyone else, it was another day deep in the rainforest. But to you, it was a million voices, whispers traveling through the wind, messages only you could understand.
"Hey." He spoke, the messages so near to becoming clear now shattered into a million pieces as you jumped to face him.
"Druig! You ruined my concentration! I was so close." You cried, giving him a small punch on the arm, lips pouted. He stared down at you, a coy smile playing on his lips.
"I'm sorry darling, I couldn't help myself."
You rolled your eyes at his childish ways. He pulled you in for a hug, his arms wrapping dangerously low on your waist, his grip on you tight.
"Druig..." You started. He pulled away just enough so he was able to look you in the eyes, his own holding a knowing, teasing look. "What have I told you?" You pushed him away, walking towards the building that was currently being used as the Eternal's home.
The laugh he let out was nearly enough to make you turn around and go straight back to him. His voice vibrated through the air, engulfing you as the energy carried away in the wind. Perhaps that was one of the first things you noticed about him. Anyone else's laugh you could feel and forget, passing it off. But his, it held magic in it, a gentleness that you could only feel. You would never admit that to him, sure he would use it against you one day.
"I know they talk about me." He smiled, eyes shining.
You looked back at him, careful not to show your shock, treading around what he might be saying. "Who?"
"Who else? The flowers, the ones in your room especially, and the ones in the treehouse. The others not really but I don't really blame them." Your face grew hot as his words hit you. He had been able to pick up on their talking, how much did he really know?
"What would give you that impression?" You played it cool, trying to not make the obvious clear.
"Well, for one, you're always talking to them, giggling. Especially when you think I'm not there." He smiled, his eyes brighter now, "And I'm pretty sure I've heard a whisper or two, calling my name."
Now you covered your mouth, laughing softly. He was right, the plants did talk about him. You were sure they had a bigger crush on him than you did. Out of all the Eternals he understood your powers best, and therefore, he understood the plants that you spoke with, and the messages you communicated with them. He would take the time to talk to them, and try to make conversation without any kind of understanding of how they'd react to him.
His arms found their way around you once more, this time tighter. His breath warmed against your neck as he spoke.
"No matter how hard I try, you're always on my mind. Do you know how, how maddening that is?" His hold tightening slightly, "I have the ability to control people's minds, make them do whatever I'd like and yet...I hardly have control over my own."
You turned to face him, hands resting on his shoulders as you pulled him closer to you, his lips lingering.
"This would be a perfect moment for a kiss, I think." He smiled, never failing to only keep the joy even in a moment like this one.
"I think we should take it then."
His lips reached forward, capturing your own in a soft, longing kiss, the kind that has been building up for years, or in your case, millenniums.
You each pulled away, foreheads resting against once another. For you, it was like a breath of fresh air. Druig's hands wrapped around you once again, holding you close to himself.
"I've been waiting a long time to do that." He smiled.
You laughed, pushing away as you heard the voices around you, swirling as the energy built up.
"They're happy." You whispered.
"Who dear?" Druig asked, looking confused.
"Nature."
"Ah, there they go whispering again, eh?"
You both let out small laughs as you walked hand in hand back to the house, the whispers sure to sing songs in your favor.

description: George and yourself are tired after a long day, and all you can think to do is cuddle in front of the fire and tell each other about the little things.

a/n: cozy George story for a cozy night. nothing too crazy, just testing the waters on this new account :) thanks for reading <3
It wasn't often that you and George were allowed the time to enjoy each other's presence. It had been so much easier when you two were young, a pair of dumb fifth-years at Hogwarts who didn't have a clue what you wanted to do in life. Until Dolores Umbridge had stomped into your school and nearly torn it to the ground. When George and Fred had flown through the room where you'd been taking your OWLs, you knew that you two would be fine, regardless of where life took you.
And yet here you were, walking back to the joke shop that sat a few blocks away from your place of work, a local and quaint plant shop. You sighed as you pulled the door open, the cold air of the outside quickly replaced with the bubbly and warm nature of the twin's joke shop. Kids zoom by, chasing each other with the items they found from around the shop, laughing and shouting at one another.
You make your way through, dodging them as they fly right by your waist until you make it to the counter where Fred is stationed, ringing up items and handling the counter like a pro.
"Evening Fred!" You shout, nearly drowned out by the giggles and gimmicks flying around.
"Oi Y/N! Georgie's in the back, tell him to hurry back here would you?" He smiles, nodding towards the storage room.
You make haste and push back the heavy door, meeting face-to-face with stacks upon stacks of boxes. You look around, a small sneeze escaping you.
"Bless you!" George's head pops out from behind a stack three rows down. His face lights up as he sees you, and soon his arms wrap around you as he trails a few kisses around your face. "Hello, darling, what brings you back here?"
"Well, Fred told me to come back here and scoop you up. I think he's struggling since it's so busy today."
"Yeah, holidays are closer than people think. So many just send their kids in with some sickles or galleons, even knuts, and soon you have a mess in here. But I don't mind." He smiled.
You couldn't help but notice how his eyes sparkled as he marveled at the shop and its success. He had been so excited when he and Fred had put down the first payment for the shop. Admittedly it was a hard thing to explain to your parents, but they'd come around to the idea when you'd phrased that George was a 'business owner and entrepreneur'.
"I can tell." You smiled. "But really, I think Fred needs help. What time do you think you'll be closing up tonight?"
"Honestly not sure...I can be up by eight?" He says, a slight rise of his eyebrow as he guesstimates what time would be acceptable to close for the night.
"That's perfect." You smile, giving him a soft kiss, taking his hand, and leading him back out to the front, where Fred is now being swarmed by what must be hundreds of children.
George looks at you, shocked, as you laugh. "Go help him, I'll be upstairs."
He squeezes your hand before diving into the mess right next to his twin.
The ambiance of the apartment was much better than that of the shop or outside. It was so perfectly in tune with George and you, and it never failed to lift you up after a long day.
With a quick wave of your wand you briskly had some food preparing on the stove as you began to pick up around the place.
You were the first to admit that magic had made your life so much easier since discovering it, but there were some things you couldn't help to resort to your "muggle" ways for, like laundry.
Soon enough dinner was ready and served, and all you had to do was wait for George to make his own way up. And nearly on the dot, the apartment door opened and the tall man made his way inside.
"God it smells like heaven in here." He smiled at you.
"It's all ready, still warm." You hugged him, chin resting on his chest as you stared up at him. He was so warm and smelled of sweet fragrance.
His arms returned the favor, walking the both of you to the table where the food was serving itself. After a lovely dinner, with small laughs and reminiscence of the day, the two of you found yourselves on the floor, hands intertwined as the small fire burned away.
"Have I ever told you about the first day I met you? And how much I knew I needed to just...know you?" George leans his frame against you.
You looked at him, hand still playing with his fingers. "Really?" You ask.
"Mhm, I even begged Ron to try and introduce me. But he swore up and down he didn't know you that well."
"What a liar! He was one of the first people I talked to at Hogwarts." You scoff. George laughs and shakes his head.
"Well, you know, that first day that we spoke to each other I was an absolute mess. I even remember begging Hermione to sneak out or I'd explode with pure excitement." You laugh. "You made me so nervous George. Anytime you'd look at me or pass me a note..."
He takes your hand in his own, lifting it to his lips, and pressing a soft kiss to it, a smile playing on his lips.
The fire starts to dwindle down, but you don't want to move, worried you'll ruin the perfect essence around you and George.
"I love you so much. You're the only thing I dream of at night, and all I think about in the day." George said, running a finger lightly through your hair. "Thank you for believing in me."
"Thank you for never giving up."
As the fire blew out, and the lights outside the shop lit up, you couldn't hope for anything more beautiful or perfect. Only that the future would be half as beautiful as this moment.
