EPFO issued the notification dated 04-05-2023 mentioning that who have exercised the joint option for contributing under provisions of Para 11 of EPS for those, employer share of EPS will be 9.49% instead of 8.33% increased by 1.16%.

With reference to circular dated 01-04-2022, EPFO has issued the notification dated 18-04-2023, granted extension for mandatory seeding of Aadhaar with UAN for filing of ECR upto 31-03-2024 in respect of certain establishment like-Beedi making, Building and Construction and Plantation Industries (Tea, Coffee, Cardamom, Pepper, Jute, Rubber, Cashewnuts) etc.
Seeding has been extended for North Eastern Region also comprising of States of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura.
