I've gotta get him back for a few things. There's a few things that he's done... back in 2018 we were on a bullet train in Japan and I fell asleep because we were all tired and there's a video of Harry drawing my initials in sharpie on my face while I'm asleep and nobody told me and I got to Tokyo or whatever it was we were going for a day off and I got up and I did my entire day off, walked around the city, went to shops, ate ramen and it was only when I got back to my hotel room and looked in the mirror that I saw that I had my own initials on my face and I had to text the group and go 'Who did this?' and then I got a video sent to me of Harry just doing it and Harry's like 'How is he not waking up?' and he's just drawing on my face. So that's what I mean to say when it's like... I've worked with some people that are nowhere near as big as Harry but they'll bubble themselves and there's a bit of a hierarchy which is fine, it's your art, it's however you wanna handle yourself. But there's something special to be said about Harry as big as he is and like if he had a God complex, you wouldn't blame him. Who has 50 million when they're like 16 years old or whatever the number it is that he got when he was in One Direction and has that amount of success and is the face of Gucci and is in Marvel films... he doesn't. You wouldn't blame him if he did but he doesn't, he's the most grounded person I ever had the privilege of meeting.

Those shows that we did that were in stadiums, I don't know how he does it, he makes them feel so small. And he does this thing, I call him The Terminator because he does this thing in the first three songs that we've worked out where he'll be scanning the audience and nothing is planned 0utside of the songs, all of the adlibs that he does in between stuff is him on the fly, nobody knows what's coming and those first three songs he's just downloading 'Okay, I've seen this sign, I've seen this sign, I've seen this sign... that person I'm gonna speak to after this song, that person I'm gonna speak to two or three times and I'm going to plan which songs I'm going to speak to them on and we're going to end this—'. [...] The stuff he does on a stadium sized show, it seems planned, it seems scripted, every day I'm shaking my head and I'm like 'This guy's an alien, he's an alien'.

I'm sure this one wasn't as cropped as this version but it seems to be the only version that's survived. I hesitated slightly about posting it as I guess certain corners of the fandom back then embraced it, but others not so much, & I expect it'll be much the same today. Hmmm. I have no idea what prompted this as stan Twitter is a distant memory now. Twitter/X has generally become much more hateful though so maybe his team felt like it was line in the sand time. Who can say. The comments under it do seem to be mostly an outpouring of support so job done? It'll be interesting to see whether media picks up on it.
