Intro/who i am and why i need $$$ 

Hello! i’m a 22 year old Canadian named Nova and i’ve been struggling with mental health difficulties for over 10 years. 

things have gotten REALLY bad with covid, and i’m working on getting a diagnosis (of potentially autism, maybe bpd- just a whole mess) and i wake up nearly every morning with a horrible, debilitating sense of dread, sadness and emptiness. Due to this, i can’t get a normal job. i can’t even be sure i’ll be able to get out of bed some days.

I’ve had to give up my apartment and move back in with my parents because of how bad my mental health is, and i have no income now because i can’t work. 

but i want to be able to be self sufficient- i don’t want to rely on my parents forever, and while my parents are ‘trying’ i have a history of being traumatized in this household and i have no where else to go- but im aware that living here is in nO WAY a long term solution

the only way i can see myself getting out of this is if my wonderful followers donate even something as small as $2 when they read my fics

and conceptually, if you’re reading a fic, sometimes it takes 2 hours, which is like an entire movie- which you spend $15 to go to in theaters, which goes towards producers and actors who already have SO MUCH MONEY-

i’m a mass producer of fics, and if i was able to make some cash every time i post- not only would my life be better because i’d actually have money to live, but i would be energized to post MORE OFTEN

Medical Fund

Each month, i have to spend (at least) $500 on medicine just to get through my days and not end myself :)

on a normal day, my symptoms include:

-being unable to sleep -wishing i was dead -being unable to eat -being unable to move or do the things that make me happy

and when i’m medicated, i’m able to eat, sleep well and long, i’m not AS suicidal, and i have energy to do things like cook and bake and just- my medicine is the only thing keeping me alive right now

so now, each month, i’ll be adding a medical gofund me as a donation option- because if nothing else, helping me get my medicine would make a WORLD of difference 

other options i’ve tried before that haven’t had much success.

Patreon: wherein people pay to subscribe monthly and get exclusive access to a set number of words over there. cons: highly restricted, you HAVE to have the subscription for access. pros: steady, reliable income.

commission: wherein people can pay a fixed amount per 1k words and give me a prompt and i create the whole fic for them. cons: also highly restricted, it felt off making someone pay for the whole fic then posting it for free on tumblr. it also felt off making someone pay $45 for a custom fic, but comparable to other commission art, it was more explainable (fics take HOURS to make) pros: reliable money. 

conclusion: crowd funding, with people each paying a low sum of $1-$3 might work best :)

Final notes/other options:

there is no way for me to make sure everyone pays a donation fee when they read my fics, and i’m aware of that- and you don’t have to prove to me if you’ve donated or anything- i’m definitely not gonna be going around and checking-

I think this is the first time I’m making a post like this, but I really want to help in the only way I can.

@smileysuh is one of the most amazing writers that I’ve seen. I’m always re-reading some works (thing that I never done before, ‘cause I just can’t), I think I read almost 10x some of them.

So when I saw the notice in the recent fic posted I needed to help the way I can, I know I’m not popular so this won’t really reach very far away, but maybe can reach more than before.

Found Johnny fic

Just to make a closure about this whole treasure hunt:

The Johnny fic I’ve been searching all this time was actually a book (The Deal, by Elle Kennedy)

After finished the book I conclude that there was never a fic with the Johnny name in it. Maybe I right before I read the book for the first time the blog that I read (because it was on tumblr) said the male lead seemed like Johnny and it was so natural, he was SO Johnny that I didn’t even remembered his name (but there was some details like his birthday that I thought was strange - but he wasn’t Johnny, so obviously the birthday wouldn’t match)

So the saga ended with a happy ending

I’m a little late, since I read the book in 2 days, I was just being lazy.

And my final statement is:

The Johnny fic is definitely the book!

All the history is the same, what I think happened was that I must have saw something saying that the lead male seems like Johnny and it just stuck in my head. Even the second time I read this was totally with Johnny in head

So, about the Johnny fic:

Apparently, as @cocoopalace said (by the way, TYSM), the whole history is from the book “The deal” by Elle Kennedy (I started reading and is like the same thing). 

But I’m 100% sure that I read this maybe just changing the name of the male lead to Johnny. 

By the way, different from what I thought this was not reader insert, there was a OC that have the exactly same name from the book, Hannah Wells (I remember because the ML uses a nickname that I remembered the moment I saw)

Just to end this, I definitely read this with Johnny, because there are other people that remembered it too

I’m going to read the book and see if I remember everyting, thank you for every one who helped me!

FIND JOHNNY FIC

Let's renew the post:

Short long history, I really need to find a Johnny fic because it was everything that I like in a fic and is with Johnny and I can't remember where I read it

The fic is really cliche, the fake dating trope that end up with the both together.

The plot is basically a girl (y/n - reader) likes a guy and Johnny suggests to fake date to make the guy interest in her. So like the cliche that it is they start date and develop feelings for eachother.

Is a long fic (more than 5k, maybe more than even 10k), the girl isn’t popular so Johnny suggests the deal to her gain attention since he is really famos on campus, I think he is a frat boy too. Johnny is giving her a ride home after a frat party, if I’m not wrong, and the conversation about the agreement happens inside the car (the beginning of the fic).

I should say that Johnny is just the perfect boyfriend material that he is in this fic.

The most memorable scene that I remember is when they are in a bar with more people and the girl in afraid to drink anything alcoholic and he ‘protects’ her (I swear it has context), and she even met her ex there with someone else (as I said, cliche)

I’m starting to think that this Johnny fic is just in my imagination. I’m looking for it almost nonstop and not even a sign
