sorry I dipped for a bit I've been getting sick a lot lately

Hey birdy I hope you're well!

I really like the idea of a Nephilim in FF-universe so I'm Sorry if this wasn’t really that relationship-y I was more focused on how cool a half-angel is I can definitely do a part two that's more fluffy!

Being the first and seemingly only one of your kind was a lonely existence, your mother a seraph (or so you were told) had been executed for falling for a human but before she was caught she and your father created you, something that would keep her love and will alive long after she is gone.

Life with your father was strict but not unpleasant always hiding from the watchful eyes in the sky he worked towards finding a materia that would conceal your presence something that led him to Shinra Tower, he made a deal with Shinra Power company, he would tell them everything he knew about higher beings if he can use their labs. They thought he was crazy until he showed them photos of your wings and golden eyes. (eyes that only change when you used your powers)

He thought they could be trusted but he was wrong- as soon as they agreed to the terms and your father brought you in, you were locked away wings plucked, and experimented on-thats where you met Sephiroth.

He could feel his body react to Hojo’s new experiment and wanted to investigate

This is when he’s in his late teens/a young adult so before crisis core but after Ever crisis so you’re both around 19 when you met

He feels his chest ache seeing someone go through what he went through and because he’s lonely he decided he wanted to befriend you

So he sneaks in when the lab is empty for a few months and you become close 

You don’t trust him at first especially because your angel side is reacting negatively to his Jenova cells

But over time you both grew close bonding over your disdain for Hojo and his stoic deminer reminding you of your father the one person you trusted

He breaks you out before Angeal and Genisis joined first and pretty much told everyone you’re off limits 

Hojo disliked that

But you felt protected with him

Living with him after being in a cage for years was odd

 by the time he “stole” you from Hojo you were both 23

He tells you offhandedly that you keep him calm

He starts to train you and you join him on some missions 

In one of those missions you get hurt really bad and he realises he can’t live without you- lucky for you both you heal really quickly

You share your first kiss when you sit up and coo at his worried face

He was flustered but didn’t deny the affection

He never asked you to be his partner but it was implied and you didn't ask about it knowing that your eachother’s person

Humming to him while he works fills him with energy (you unintentionally use your powers to clear his mind when you hum)

Before he sprouts his wing he grooms yours a lot because he can see it makes you happy

Researches angels to try and surprise you with your heritage

He had this need to protect you even though you’re a divine being

After snapping he becomes obsessive his cells screaming to devour you but his heart not wanting to hurt you

If you stay with him you groom each other's wings

And you start to get sick because your angel side wouldn’t like the power he possesses

Depending on how you want this to go he could also want to destroy the heavens for causing you pain

You could also probably clear his mind with your powers if you wanna go off-canon

If so you could revive many people and stop canon in its tracks

Saving not only Sephiroth but the rest of the firsts too

If you have children they would have 1-3 wings

They would also be stronger than both of you because angel blood Jenova cells and human endurance/psyche would be like a holy trinity

You both escape Shinra and create a home for yourselves hidden from everything

Sephiroth with a chronically ill partner

When you first met each other he could see that you were in pain and was intrigued at the fact you were continuing your work through your winces.

He knows a lot of people would go home if their not well so you caught his eye

He watched you for a while before he actually approached you and he only did that when he saw you stumble.

Your head landed on his chest and it was burning, he wasn’t sure how to deal with it and was trying to figure it out in his head when you pulled away

After thanking him you fluster and make your way to the break room

…he’s the type to pull your files up and read your records he would never admit it though

When he saw you had a chronic illness that causes migraines he was shocked you work in one of the loudest parts of the building

He keeps an eye on you unintentionally he didn’t even notice when he started to research pain medicine

The next time you meet you are getting scolded by your boss about taking time off and it clicks that the last time he saw you you were forced to come in

And it makes him angry

You guys become really close and he always has painkillers on him in case you need them

When he asks you out you are in your room whimpering in pain afraid he would think you’re useless because you’re in pain all the time but all he can see is someone with the soul of a soldier

You passed out but remembered he was going to say something

You ask him the next day and he’s flustered asking for you to forget but you slip out a

He researches better medications for you and would pay for them behind your back because he just wants you to feel better

You got a cluster headache that lasted for six weeks and he almost messed up a mission in worry for you

A lot of medications don’t work and when you tell him you’ve built up a tolerance to them he holds you promising to find something for you one day

He’s not the best caretaker but he tries and that makes you happy

He installed dimming lights in your place and his so if you suddenly get a migraine you can dim them until you make your way to bed

He definitely looks at old remedies 

Angeal told him boiling water could help and you grumbled about it but drank it for him, it seemed to help for a little bit

He’s there for all and any appointments 

If certain smells or foods trigger it you bet he would remove it from his life ASAP

When you’re further in your relationship he holds you against his chest kissing your head and staying as still as he can when you need support

Winter with them

He runs hot so he sometimes doesn’t notice how cold it really is

He does wear the first-class turtle neck when he noticed people rugging up (he just wants to fit innnnnn)

He would buy you the nicest winter clothes that he can find some of them are ugly but his “it’s the most practical one I could find” warms your heart and you can’t say no to it

When he comes back to the flat and sheds his coat you rush for it and curl up in it on the couch and he can feel his heart stutter 

He would make a lot of roasts and just winter food

He would cuddle you if you two are alone but if Angeal or Genesis come over he’s on the other side of the couch, shooting you longing looks

I feel he needs a fan to sleep because he does run hot so you cuddle into his chest with the blanket up to your chin he has a few photos on his phone because he thinks you are adorable 

Would make you hot chocolate or coffee (or whatever hot drink you like) every morning 

If you get sick he’s a little stressed because soldiers don’t usually get sick and he’s never really been around a sick person he’s not overbearing but he checks up on you throughout the day and reads up on what to do if your partners sick

Watching the rain/snow together before you go to bed while you talk about your day

Another person I feel runs hot but still needs to rug up

He used to cook with his mum a lot in winter so he gets a little bittersweet but he also loves making new memories with you

He makes sure your warm and have clothes for the winter but wouldn’t buy you more, he would offer you his “old” stuff

He has the heat on really high so when he gets home he can defrost really quick

He exercises even more in winter to keep warm and you have to question how he’s not dehydrated 

Would wear socks to bed only in winter though 

Once used a fire materia inside and almost lit the couch on fire because he didn’t want to wait for the heater to warm the house up (he forgot to turn it on in the morning and was dreading coming home that night)

But again he would try and compromise and not eat it around you

When you cook together he enjoys the food a lot more it seems more flavourful to him (cue a “it’s made with love!”)

He has a bit of a sweet tooth but hides it

Zack

Can’t cook for shit-type of guy to burn water 

No but all joking aside he didn’t really need to cook growing up so he’s learning as he goes and likes spending time with you

Type of guy to “I can take spice give me the spiciest seasoning you have!” only to choke on salt

He’s white-white so please help him with seasonings 

Once he tries chicken salt on chips he won’t eat them without

He also gives me lactose-intolerant vibes to a slight degree but doesn’t care if it tastes good he's eating it and you can’t stop him

Food fights - he would throw flower at you even when you're not cooking with it
